We had an amazing time at Navarro but I recommend you book a table (and a paella!) in advance, as their seating is limited. The white sangria was very refreshing and the seafood paella was just perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.

We had a really good experience at Navarro.

After extensive research, we found this place to be the best when it comes to Paella, close to the city centre of Valencia.

A reservation is a must, since this place works for a limited time daily and walk ins is not really a thing for this place.

The seafood paella was amazing. Although it takes over half an hour to be served, the food was so tasty, the fish practically melts in your mouth. I can definitely recommend!

Warm, friendly staff and wonderful Paella. The entire experience was exceptional. It was the first time we had been there and it felt like old home week - despite our language handicap. We had a tomato salad and Paella de Mariscos - both exceptional.

Amazing place with Top quality food. Apetizer "pan con tomate", salad and the paella were excellent. Even the dessert Tiramisú very well done. My biggest surprise was the gluten free bread and many GF options. I can 100% recommend it.

The best paella ever I had! The Valenciana Paella is a little bit sticky, I like it though! You need a reservation for sure. We also ordered the baby squid with ink and the tomato salad as a starter. Valencia tomato is incredibly big! You should try it once! Also the baby squid with ink:)

Lovely gem of a place during our stay in Valencia. The staff, whom I reckon is the owner, was so warm and welcoming. Advising us on what to order and how she will separate the servings to make it easier for me and my wife to dine in harmony. The food was the best that we have tasted in a week in Spain and we would love to visit the restaurant again!

Perfectly cooked paella. We tried the traditional Valencian paella with rabbit and snails and it was delicious! As you can see we finished every bit of it! We also tried the black pudding croquette for starters. Beautiful decor in the restaurant and the staff were really friendly and attentive too. Make sure you book as it gets busy. And you have to preorder the Valencian paella before you arrive.

Had lunch here today, ordered a mixed salad and seafoods paella. The salad is the best I have in Spain. Though I can’t compare the paella with other restaurants, this one is pretty perfect. The flavor is intense and the texture of the rice and seafoods are just right, especially the pieces of burnt rice crust. Love it. Plan to come back to try the traditional paella and other offerings in the menu. The staffs are all very welcoming and friendly.

Great looking restaurant with excellent service. The food is full of taste and looks gorgeous.
They can also speak english very well yet is also loved by locals. So don’t worry about it being a tourist trap.

We had to move to another table because there was a group of four coming which wasn’t a problem, but we did get free dessert as a thank you for switching tables.

Price/value is also on point!

A very busy spot in a great central location. I had 5 paellas in 3 days in Valencia and this was the best one. Every bite was so filled with seafood which was not the case in the others I tried, seriously it was FULL! It was also deliciously flavourful with perfectly cooked rice. Special shout out to the white sangria which was so refreshing and some of the most tasty I’ve had!

Very nice family owned restaurant. The food was amazing. Sangria is good and very tasty. Pear chocolate cake was fantastic as well. Paella was very good but a little salty. They accommodate as per allergies.

1 drink, 1 appetizer, shared paella, and a desert with espresso was about 45 euros.
Highly recommended!

I can't rave more about this restaurant. You have to reserve a day prior especially if you are ordering vegetarian or meat paella. We however walked in and were accommodated within 2 hours, which wasn't bad as we discovered the area around the restaurant. The paella is delicious, and so flavorful! We had the marisco fidiueroand the shrimp toast.

Great place to grab authentic paella in Valencia, where the paella born. The place is really nice, a bit upscale restaurant. We order paella valenciana, which you have to order a day before, since it takes some times to prepare it. Reservation is recommended

Delicious and fresh food. We are vegetarian, Vanessa helped us to choose our dishes, had one of the best vegetarian Paella and Sangria. Aubergine millifuellie was great, it was totally new dish for us and we loved it! Beautiful place and helpful staff.

I went to Valencia on a solo trip a few weeks back and I knew that I HAD to have Valencian Paella while I was there. I started researching for the best Valencian Paella in town months in advance but most restaurants need 2pax minimum for one paella order. I finally found Navarro and emailed them to ask if I could order the paella alone, and they said YES!

When I finally came to the restaurant, they somehow lost my reservation but fixed the issue immediately and showed me to my seat (appreciated the fast and warm service regardless of the problem).

The ambiance was incredible, you can tell people seriously go to Navarro for a great dining experience.

I started with a fab Valencian rosé which they recommended (loved it!!). For appetizer, they recommended a salad with a bunch of local vegetables and ingredients - I could taste all the fantastic local produce, which was exciting.
For main - what I came for - the Valencian Paella. No Joke…. This is the best paella I have ever had in my LIFE!!!
Valencian paella traditional comes with rabbit, snails and beans and it was all just so delicious and tender, the rice was perfectly cooked with a crispy bottom (the best part). The portion was on the bigger side for a solo diner but I ate it all anyways because it was THAT good.

I would come back here over and over again. Thank you for the amazing service and food! ❤

La paella de mariscos es deliciosa! We were lucky enough to grab a table for two right after they opened without a reservation, but reservations are a must if you want to make sure you get a table.

The staff is super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is great. One of the best pellas we have had!

We called when they opened at 1pm to make a reservation for the same day. They were able to have a table indoors at 3pm. Love that Valencians recommend you what they think is better. She offered outdoor or indoor but then immediately said, indoor is better.

Ok now onto the food and service itself. As soon as we walked in, the people who worked there were so friendly from start till the end. We ordered Lobster Paella and grilled vegetables as a starter to carry us for a 35minute wait. The vegetables reflected the freshness we saw earlier at Mercado Central. There was a smokiness to the variety of vegetables and they were perfectly seasoned and grilled.

Then came a picture of perfection…our Paella de Bogavante with lobster, prawns, swordfish & squid. It was one of the best we ever had - the lobster was well cooked and the rice had a nice aroma hitting the nose before you even tasted the delicious morsels of indulgence. I had the house red wine and finished with an espresso.

We loved our meal and the service so much that we made another reservation and ordered the Paella Valencia. We can’t wait to go back!

Note: make a reservation via their website and also hours can change depending on the time of the year (posted on the site). Certain dishes like the Paella Valencia must be reserved a day in advance.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We decided to book a table after having it recommended as the best paella in Valencia and were not disappointed. The restaurant was only open from 13:00 to 16:00 on the day, so I'd strongly recommend getting a reservation as it can get very busy. Some dishes need to be pre ordered a day before (Paella Valenciana for example), so it's good to have that in mind. I also liked the QR coded menu that you can access in Spanish, English and Italian from your phone.
For starters we tried the prawn & mascarpone crisp on seafood sauce and aubergine millefeuille on pumpkin sauce. Both starters were absolutely delicious and prepared with care, sauces went amazingly well with the food. Portions were perfectly sized to get the full taste of the food, but also prepare for the main course which in our case was the seafood paella for two (its two person minimum and is served on the pan which i found a very nice little accent here in Spain).
Now I am not normally a huge fan of rice, but was positively surprised this time. The sauce was full of flavor and generous with seafood, sized perfectly for two without it being too much. Definitely the best paella I've tried, although my mom thought it was a bit too salty.
Onto the homemade deserts and coffee, we had chocolate Truffles and Egg custard with Cinnamon and again it was amazing, full of flavor and satisfying as a meal closer. Definitely will come back if I'm ever in the area.
The service was very good, our waitress took great care of us and most of the staff speaks English, smiles and makes the experience really enjoyable.
