Beautiful restaurant with great food and service. The paella was extremely fragrant and full of seafood flavours. Drinks were on the high side. But I will probably be back for more paella!

Service: A friend recommended that check out L’Olive while in Barcelona and I’m glad we went! I enjoyed the quick and accommodating dinner service. The interior of the dimly lit restaurant was also stunning!

Food: For appetizers, the restaurant provides the most delicious, fresh olives and bread. For my entree, I ordered the paella and was happy that I did. The restaurant will present the paella in a flat pan and then place it on a plate for you - I loved this presentation and the attention to detail! It was very filling and appetizing.

Recommendation: Overall, I would recommend trying out this restaurant.

On our final night in Barcelona, we wanted to wrap our our stay with more of a fine dining restaurant, but also a spot that locals would go dine as well. Our hotel concierge recommended L'Olive as a spot for us to try and I'm glad they did!

We made reservations about a month or so in advance and we arrived at our dining time and was warmly greeted by the host and also were greeted even by the kitchen chef team as we were walking to our table.

The restaurant is pretty large and is very elegant, a true fine dining establishment! The server came by a few minutes later and greeted us as well and provided us with our menus and offered to answer any initial questions we had.

They brought some olives and a few pieces of ham as complimentary starters and we ordered wine by the glass for I believe around 5 or 6 euros a glass. The wine was very tasty and a great value. The starters were also a nice touch as well!

For appetizers, we ordered the Catalan bread for 4 euros, along with the croquettes for 3 euros each. Both were great choices for starters, and we enjoyed all of them!

We also ordered the Gazpacho soup which was on their specials for the night, and it was absolutely outstanding! It tasted very fresh and the server also brought soup toppings by as well which we were able to select from.

We ordered the Grilled Beef Filet, including fries for 34 euros each and the cut of meat was absolutely amazing! All food we tried was amazing and very flavorful and was a standout meal from our trip. We highly recommend trying the restaurant if you're in Barcelona!

Great food & service. The restaurant is a little more upscale, but it's worth the extra price if you want a special meal. The Carpaccio melts in your mouth, the escalivada and pan con tomate were great and the fish delicious.

Our best food experience in Spain! The food is really good and the drinks as well, we tried the sole fish and the paella, strongly recommended!!
The staff/management are professional and also fun. I booked my table online and also communicated with them via email to plan a surprise cake and they were quick to respond and were very helpful. Thank you and keep it up!

Great sea food and classic style in Barcelona.

Highly recommend the Sea Bream, the spicy oil highlights the firm texture with abundant flavors.

Extremely good restaurant, service was top class. Caring and knowledgeable.

Food was beautifully prepared. Some dishes were outstanding and some were mediocre. Salt cod in Rosa tomato for one was 10/10. Lambs brains was 2/10.

Beautiful restaurant decor also. Price higher than other similar options.

L'Olive in Barcelona offers a truly stellar culinary experience that should not be missed. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are met with attentive service that sets the tone for a memorable meal.

The grilled turbot is an absolute standout dish, with perfectly grilled fish that is bursting with flavor. The Châteauneuf-du-Pape is equally impressive and provides a wonderful complement to the meal. The restaurant's starters are also not to be missed, as they are just as impressive as the main dishes.

The service here is truly exceptional, with staff who are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a fantastic dining experience. They are experts at pairing wine with food, and their recommendations will take your meal to the next level.

Overall, L'Olive is one of the best culinary experiences you can have in Barcelona. The attention to detail and dedication to quality is evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the exceptional dishes to the outstanding service. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, be sure to make a reservation at L'Olive.

Walking in here, you immediately feel transferred back in time. Copper pans on the wall and friendly waiters in white uniforms.

The cuisine is classic catalan and is exquisite. You can tell they have access to the best ingredients and they let the ingredients shine without doing too much with them. Simple items like the iberico jamon, some of the best i have had in BCN. Also highly recommend the paella, which could’ve had more socarrat. It’s pricey but the quality definitely matches.

I enjoyed the experience from the moment we entered the restuarant with warm welcome to the seating.
The waiter made his best to help choose the right choices for us taking considerations of each ones preference.
Starters were good and the main course was amazing; each one of us has enjoyed our dishes. We stayed there for almost 2 hours.
Decoration is very creative. The ambience is very cheerful yet classy.

Great option in Eixample for business luncheons. Dishes are a mix of traditional cuisine with innovation. Yet it isn’t haute cuisine but great quality food that can’t go wrong and makes everybody happy. The cellar selection is way too small.

We tried so much here...Alberto was a great guide for us Americans, as my wife doesn't speak Spanish. Also, my Spanish is Castilian and for Catalans, it's odd.

Still, with help, Alberto was incredibly accommodating and provided us his awesome opinion on wines and food. Nothing disappointed and the service was impeccable. Again, not a tourist trap. We visited a great shop called Solsona and the woman there (a Catalan herself) stated they had the best Catalan food on Barcelona. She was right...

Everything was prepared perfectly and flavors were amazing. The Chuleton was perfect and the best desserts...Definitely more upscale but not crazy prices. If you want something authentic and not a tourist trap off of La Rambla, go here. A beautiful restaurant and even more beautiful food and people. A must visit.

Delicious food we had the sea bass which is served for two people and learned how they cooked. It was really good. The service was excellent and the place very nice. It was expensive but worthy.
