Hotel Catalonia Port

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was the highlight of our trip as everyone was really friendly and helpful. Donovan, Marina, Jaime and Francisco and everyone else were lovely to us and our almost 3 year old. The hotel is well located within walking distance to most tourist attractions. Nice restaurants in the area and lots of playgrounds as well. We enjoyed the pool as well albeit the water was a little bit cold. :)

The staff there are all so friendly and helpful! Great location in the Gothic quarter. Nice and quiet for sleeping, yet close to active night areas. Had a nice chat with Jaime the bartender who shares my love for anything connected to Breaking Bad. Great place - we would definitely stay there again.

Large comfortable rooms. The hotel is very clean throughout. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a large variety of foods and included fresh juice, coffee, and wine or champagne. Carlos was very helpful to make sure you had everything you needed. Located in the Gothic quarter, short walk to many restaurants and attractions.

Awesome location. Staff very welcoming staff. Very clean room. Breakfast was great. James and Fatima provided an awesome service nothing was a problem.

Hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Carlos was the one who served us and he was fantastic.

My wife and I had a very nice stay at Catalonia Port Hotel. We were originally booked at a different Catalonia hotel location, but it was being renovated, and we were rebooked at this Catalonia Port location. The hotel was centrally located and the room was very clean comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Excellent customer service- thank you.

This is a small boutique hotel with excellent facilities in a great location for visiting Barcelona. Close to The Ramblas and the port if you are on a cruise and in the Gothic quarter near a good variety of restaurants.
The rooms are quiet and well furnished and the hotel serves an excellent breakfast for only 21 euros. A large selection of pastries meats and cheeses along with fresh orange and first rate coffee. Cooked items are also swiftly prepared to order.
What stands out is the fantastic level of service given by all the staff and management.
We had a problem with our ongoing transit which the front of house manager spent a long time sorting for us.
Our cases were looked after we had checked out as our flight was later that day and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Probably one of the best hotel stays I have ever had.

Stayed here with my wife and 13 year old son for three nights. Location was perfect for exploring Barcelona old town with a quick link to the port area.

Room was a great size for the three of us, loads of space with lovely double doors opening onto small balcony overlooking pool.

Wow what a great find! This hotel was ideally located for visiting Barcelona. Very near port vell and good transport links too.

What a great hotel. Centrally located between Ramblas and Promenade/Port. We had a triple room facing the courtyard which was very good size. The staff was excellent and we even got a welcome drink. The breakfast included was amazing with fresh juice, prosecco, warm dishes and a big selection of cheeses etc.
Definitely want to come back again 😍

This is a beautiful quaint hotel in the perfect location in Barcelona! Very close to the water and Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter, we walked everywhere with ease! Breakfast each morning was wonderful, with mimosas and delicious food. Carlos and Rachel made sure we had everything we needed and provided a lovely meal to start our day. At the front desk everyone was very helpful and met every need we had. Marcal was wonderful! Went out of his way to help us!

My wife and two young daughters stayed here for 4 nights in February. Our experience could not have been better. Special thanks to Beatrice who was super helpful. The location is ideal, with a metro station and Las Ramblas a short walk away. The beach and most of the main tourist spots were walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

My son and I stayed here for a week while visiting Barcelona & had a great experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms & hotel were clean.

The location is also great. Practically on the water and very close to the Metro. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby as well as a small grocery store very close. It also has a small pool with provided towels which is a nice bonus especially given the size and location.

Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff, and a wonderful breakfast. Nice room and bathroom. Small bar onsite and a nice sitting area for socializing. Close to the port, and in a great location for walking to the cathedral and many restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Would definitely stay here again.

All the staff are lovely! From the reception staff, restaurant staff, the managers, even the room cleaners, always smiling and all more than helpful. The room is a good size and nice, clean and quiet. The pool area is lovely and clean. The staff have made our stay really nice. Thank you 😊

The staff is incredibly helpful, the rooms are spacious and well equipped (ie you have coffee and tea and everything you need), they religiously clean and honestly was a pleasure to stay there. It’s also in a beautiful area with lots of restaurants and bars and very safe (daytime as I didn’t go out at night). Will definitely come back.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week in early September 2023. Cannot speak highly enough of the experience. As stated by others, all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Of particular note is Rechelle from the Breakfast Bar. She makes sure that your day starts off on the right foot with her charming personality and the best hotel breakfast we have enjoyed anywhere. Hotel location is excellent and very central to everything. Our room was excellent and had the added benefit of opening french doors onto a piazza which was heaving with vibrancy & life. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Barcelona.
