Taj Mahal Restaurant - Halal

This is a very nice restaurant with authentic Indian taste. You will have to tell them to male Indian spicy to get good homely taste. Their salted lassi is just amazing. The tadka dal was dal was fabulous too. Chicken tikka surprisingly came like a sizzler so hot and spicy was good.

On special request owner extended his timing and served us when we were feeling hungry and wanted to have something halal and delicious food

Strolling near avenue of Gaudi, we discovered this restaurant. We liked the variety of menu. Spice level can be altered for most of the dishes. We ordered chicken tikka masala, shahi paneer and chicken madras.
Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and tasty. Server suggested chicken madras and I am glad I ordered it. It was so good and flavorful. Shahi paneer was made very well.

I ordered tandoori chicken as an appetizer. It was delivered on sizzling skillet like you expect. It was prepared very well.

I highly recommend this place for someone looking to get taste of India.

My family and I had such a wonderful experience eating at Taj Mahal, that we ate here for both of the nights we stayed in Barcelona — even though there is no lack of halal restaurants in the area. That’s how much we loved eating here. We ordered the beef vindaloo, beef seekh kebab, chicken tandoori, plain naan, and rice. Everything was fresh, warm, and authentically desi. Both grownups and kids enjoyed the food, and nothing was left over! ⭐

Taj Mahal is a great place to dine in for indian/Pakistani food. We have been their twice since im in the city and it’s remarkable. The chicken soup and their chai is a must try! Saqib has been a great server , very friendly and welcoming! He also helped us finding the parking as well.

Frankly the best Pakistani food in Barcelona. We came across this restaurant by chance. It was late in the evening (for us around 15h) but the food served to us was fresh and tasty. I can say that their food has most authentic taste, similar to what we have in Pakistan. The "daal makhni" was extremely tasty and with the right mix of spices. The Biryani was also good and very tasty. We also had "doodh patti" (milk tea) after the lunch. The place was clean and quite. Barcelona has a lot better Pakistani/Indian food options than France. I would recommend Taj Mahal because of the best "desi" food experience we had.

So went past a few Indian restaurants and researched a few online. But this one is the best place to try indian food at if your at Barcelona. Its halal as well. You cant go wrong the food was just amazing. Customer.service was amazing and price is good. Overall you can't go wrong.

Very flavourful dishes! Meat is halal. Portion sizes are very good (1 naan is good for 1 person). Our bill was ~60 euros for 5 people.

Amazing food. Reminded me of my mom's cooking. Chicken Korma (spicy) was THE BEST! Great spaces and was actually spicy. Very good service and music. Restaurant a d bathroom are also very clean

Excellent Indian food with very affordable prices. I was in Barcelona for a trip and craving indian food, I stumbled upon this restaurant. Not to go on the graphics outside which might give it a feel of a cheap place, as you enter inside, the ambience is not bad at all! On top of that, the food was really impressive. Overall, a really good find! Will visit again!

This was the best food we had during 7 days in Catalonia, by far. Probably the best chicken tikki masala I’ve tried anywhere. Prices are very low, portions are filling and atmosphere is nice. Highly recommend for anyone in Barca hungry for some Indian food!

We enjoyed the food very much, I can recommend the Chicken Balti and Lamb Kashmir, together with rice, plain naan bread and Raita! The meat was very tender, spicyness adequate and everything fresh. We loved it and will come back to repeat. Kind service.
