Guest House Bellaguarda

This is a charming and different place to spend your holiday in Altea. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to everything. The house is an old townhouse, renewed in a very delicate way. The rooms are nice, with comfortable beds and delicate bathrooms. The host is really caring, always making sure his guests are comfortable. The roof-terrace is outstanding. We recommend Guest House Bellaguarda wholeheartedly. We will, no doubt, come back to stay.

Was here for 6 days and received a very warm welcome from the owner, George. It is in a lovely location and especially the roof terrace gives you a great view of Altea.
The room itself was really good as well. The bed was comfortable and the shower was perfect. I can highly recommend this place if you want something quiet at a great location and with a friendly owner!

OUTSTANDING GUEST HOUSE AND HOST. I had such a pleasant experience here. Georg is an amazing host and really makes the stay warm and comfortable. He generously picked me up at the train in his fun tuktuk (only one in a city with one!). We had several delicious dinners together with great wine for a couple extra euros. It really made this a unique experience you can't get elsewhere and this also gives travelers a great chance to learn about the region. He is an outstanding chef. Having coffee and cookies every morning on the front stoop was also a great way to start each day. Georg even gave me a ride to the mountains for my hike which was just above and beyond nice. Not only is Georg's house very well put together and decorated, the location is the best it can be. There is a little public tower in his courtyard giving it a very historic sense. No traffic, yet central to everything. I can't recommend this airbnb enough, especially for travelers that want a social aspect available! 5 stars!

Wonderfully tasteful restored rooms with all new bathrooms and really the most incredible rooftop terrace with views of the old town, just unbelievable!
Right next to a quiet little piazza full of palm trees to which it opens up to.
Come here before everybody else does 😉

This is a beautiful home in a quiet area, yet right in the middle of everything. Walk everywhere, to the seafront, to the church, to shopping, to restaurants. The Tuesday market is just steps away. Georg's kitchen is totally outfitted with pots & pans and every spice you can dream of labelled in 4 languages.
The bathrooms are completely modern. The house is full of art. Georg is very interesting and friendly.

Guest House Bellaguarda is a real Guest House. You will be welcomed by Georg, the owner. You feel welcomed by him in the guesthouse. The roof terrace is great, with a view of the entire village, mountains and sea. Delicious to have breakfast overthere and to enjoy the sunset at night with all the beautiful colors of the sky. When it’s warm the square next to the guesthouse is also wonderful to sit under the palmtrees and enjoy the stillness and bougainvillea. Furthermore, silent rooms with a wonderful bathroom and great shower. You can also use the kitchen. It’s a very fine place to stay. Close to the city center as well as to the sea. Also a good exercise to walk up and down the village😊

Absolutely Lovely Place.
Perfect location in Altea, really 5 minutes to the sea and beach, even closer to shops, the local market and the Basilica. At the same time, far from traffic, which is unusual! The possibility of darkening the shutters and the silence surrounding me made me sleep late for the first time in my life 🚀🤩. The Owner George is a nice and very helpful person - so you can feel at home without being embarrassed etc. View from the terrace = must be there, no words ✨🤩🤩🤩✨

Wir waren begeistert von dem so geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Haus ! Wir genossen die Aussicht aufs Meer und auf die Altstadt vom Feinsten von der Dachterrasse die zum Chillen einlädt, Erholung pur, geschlafen haben wir wunderbar ( gute Qualität der Betten ). Unser zuvorkommende charmante Gastherr verwöhnte uns kulinarisch und begleitete uns auch gern bei Restaurantbesuchen. Gerne nahmen wir den Abreisetransfer zum Busbahnhof Benidorm in Anspruch. Mein nächster Urlaub in diesem Haus ist schon geplant.

Auf meiner 6woechigen Rundreise entlang der Costa Brava war das Gasthaus von Georg unschlagbar die beste Adresse! Ruhiges und stilvolles Wohnen in einem restaurierten Stadthaus, renommierte Wohnlage von Altea: gepflegt, den historischen torre direkt vor der Haustuer und dennoch abseits vom Touristentrubel umgeben von mediterranen Pflanzen und Palmen.
Die Dachterrasse muss man selbst erlebt haben: das Meer, die Berge und der weite Blick auf die Stadt mit den Kuppeln der Kathedrale!!!
Das größte Plus ist jedoch Georg, der als geborener Gastgeber eine einzigartige Wohlfühlatmosphäre schafft. Er kümmert sich mit viel Herz um die Belange seiner Gäste und bereichert mit seinen Lebensgeschichten und seinem Humor jeden einzelnen Urlaubstag. Als reisender Single bin ich für die interessierte, zugewandte und hilfbereite Art des Gastgebers besonders dankbar.
Also: Wer das Gasthouse von Georg nicht erlebt hat, wird die bestmögliche Option der Unterkunft in Altea leider verpassen.

Besonders gut war die Dachterrasse, die war einfach gigantisch gut. Den Sonnenaufgang/Sonnenuntergang von der besten Dachtrasse in Altea zu sehen war ein Highlight. Georg war auch ein sehr netter Gastgeber und hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Jederzeit wieder :)

Preciosa ubicación, en el centro del pueblo y con terraza panorámica. Mi habitación (Asia) estaba decorada con gusto y sensibilidad y, por supuesto, limpia. El anfitrión, excelente.

Terraza con vistas increíbles y el dueño es una persona súper amable.
