The patatas fritas were very good, cooked perfect, served very hot with a tasty aioli. Good sandwiches too, and outdoor seating with shade that is dog friendly. Nice staff as well. Recommended!

Very atmospheric place to grab a quick bite with a view on old Square in Barcelona. I really love their olives, but won't recommend their traditional sandwich of some sort of potatoes in baget. I would probably opt for some meat sandwich next time.

My favorite little neighborhood cafe in the Born district. It’s a small outside patio that is often full, so you may need to wait on the “wall” for a bit for a table. Be patient.. hang out and chat with others. Once you get a table its a great place to sit back, relax and watch the who’s who of Barcelona stroll by

We had breakfast and lunch here. The coffee and food is good, staff is really friendly. And not expensive. Lovely!

I recently moved to Barcelona, and this place has quickly become one of my favourite spots to visit almost daily, particularly as it is dog-friendly. Whether for a glass of good Rioja or their tasty food, it never disappoints. The atmosphere is unique and might not be for everyone; it has a more local and bohemian vibe compared to strictly tourist-focused establishments. I genuinely can't understand the complaints about tourist prices, as Catalina's clearly displays their prices on multilingual menus and chalkboards both inside and outside. In fact, their prices are significantly lower than those of nearby bars offering lesser quality food and drink. There's no need to complain just because things didn't go your way. Not all bars solely cater to the tourist money. If you don't like it, kindly leave it for the many people who do appreciate it.

Delicious food. Had the sausage platter which was meats and cheese with the tomato bread to share. The blue cheese on the platter was amazing and the tomato breath was the tastiest I have had so far.

Great spot for people watching and coffer & cake or vermouth and some tapas. I always find staff very helpful, the seating outside is great and I return every time I’m in Barca.

Nice little non-pretentious cafe on a normal square. Very good for a snack or drink in a not-too busy part of the Gothic quarter.
