Pastisseria Escribà

This cafe was recommended by our hotel and what a delight it was. The balance of the dishes was spot on, not overly sweet at all and just a treat to eat.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

Would recommend as somewhere you really should visit when in Barcelona.

Stepped into it while walking towards La Boqueria and when we went inside we realized that we were in a very famous pastry shop. The shop used to be an old fresh pasta show and now is a lovely small coffee shop with amazing crema catalana and cremats.
I was lucky enough to meet the chef himself Christian Escribà (4th generation of pastry chefs!)

Service, coffee and pastries were excellent. Enjoyed one of the best pistachio croissants that I ever had along with a flat white. Their outside space was comfortable.

Nice little cafe with very nice staff. Clean and quiet. It's only few meters away from the chaos of Starbucks or Duncan donuts so it's a much better option of you want to sit down, enjoy your coffee and some desserts without having to be stepped on/ hit by all the by passers

We got “Naked” and a lip shaped cake and they are both beautiful and delicious. Coffee was good too. Staffs are nice and friendly. My husband and I wanted to go there again but couldn’t this time so we’re looking forward to go there next Spain trip.

Stumbled upon this store and were so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and were able to speak to us in English and the coffee was amazing. We had a Cremadet which again was awesome. Loved every thing about this store and can't wait to go back.

Ani Iconic place of Barcelona. Best team (Sandra and Pau the best of the best!!) cremadet and crema catalana are Catalan delicacy! Best pastry in town! 5 stars a place super recommended! 💪🏻❤

Wonderful cafe with beautiful and whimsical pastries. This is a great stop to step away from the bustle of La Rambla.

The pistachio croissant is really really good and their espresso was decent. The location is stunning and a beautiful historical building.
Service was a bit slow when I went and they don't have too many seats but overall I really like this place and highly recommend it.

Best hot chocolate I had in Spain. Pastries are also delicious and fresh. I was in Barcelona for 4 days and every morning I had my hot chocolate with different pastries. Great customer service, everyone spoke English.

We shared a small chocolate and apricot cake. It was fabulous. If it hadn’t closed by the time we finished (out on the plaza) we would’ve gone back for more!

Perfect place to celebrate the birthday of a cake-lover... I gifted my boyfriend all the 6 cakes in the display. They were all great but the chocolate mountain and the cheesecake were delicious!! The staff was very friendly and the green tea was also amazing!

Outstanding high-end chocolates like you wish you could eat every day. Hey, go ahead, They have been serving coffee, pastries, bonbons, and chocolate delights since 1820! That's 201 years old!

I went here for the amazing chocolate croissants and man were they truly amazing!!! Wonderful place for other things as well.

Cheesecake was excellent. And the service was very nice, and contrary to most barcelona cafes we did not have to wait, but could order immediately and got our food very fast!

At this place I feel happy and relaxed while I'm drinking cup of coffee with an amazing piece of sweets made with love and kind and served in a great nice way, I'm really happy to find this place I been there 3 times already and every time I'm in love more with this place, nice clean and service is very good and sweets quality are the best.

Very nice coffee shop! For the centre of Barcelona, it isn't excessively expensive. Good quality as it is the standard of Señor Escribà. Worth a visit to a very chef's coffee shop.
