La Marcelina

Along the sea front are numerous restaurants which have staff out front trying to coax you in. We went to La Marcellina because they weren't one of them. Staff were welcoming and food was good. We came in shortly after they'd opened so it seemed very quiet and sepulchral with just two of us in a large space ..but by the time we left it was filling up

We ordered for two and had trouble finishing it! If you love paella skip the appetizers. We also had the cheesecake with the violet ice cream, both delicious.

I traveled through Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante for a 10 days vacation. So far Marcelina offers the best Paella. I went to a couple of fancy , expensive, upscale restaurants for paella but they are not even close to the flavors and service of La Marcelina. The waitress gave me a recipe how to prepare paella.

We have been here few years ago and we loved it!
on our latest visit to Valencia we were curious to see if the place was still as good as it was, and we actually discovered that it has even improved: fresh fish, great customer service and premium location!
I cannot wait to come back!

Strawberry Ganisado good, refreshing, perfect to get hydrated at super hot day. They have also mango and kiwi, for sure I will come to try rest flavours.

The best paella we had in 🇪🇸. Appetizers were pretty good like octopus and little deep-fried fishes. We highly recomemded it

I think absolutely 5/5 plus 100% I haven’t been for long time at this iconic place at the skirts of Playa de Valencia , but it’s been always a place from my childhood .

We dropped by in the evening for a late dinner (as one does in Spain). We loved the salad and Frittura Mediteranea.

We hosted our pre-wedding welcome lunch at this renowned Paella restaurant and were very pleased with both the quality of the food and the service provided. The staff was professional and attentive to all our guests even despite not everyone speaking Spanish. Even our youngest guests were served a special kid menu and treated with a lot of patience and care.
Carlos, the owner, made it very easy for us to book and prepare for our very large international group. He was very accommodating by allowing us to customize the menu, even assisted with printing them, and leaving us the space to enjoy our afternoon even beyond the restaurant’s opening hours.
Overall, highly recommended; we and our friends will come back!

Good food and nice atmosphere. We had really nice time.

Very old school Valencia restaurant on the beach. A little like the titanic inside but the food and service is old school and excellent. Some people will look at the out of date decor and not rate it as a result but look through this and you will have a great meal. As a family we really enjoyed it!

The restaurant is close to the sea. We had very nice local paella.

Paella is absolutely incredible. Beautiful view, with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Was recommended this place by a friend who is Valencian and told me this is THE place to go. Did not disappoint - best paella of my life hands down!
