If you are in Palma, this is well worth a visit.

Beautiful place, lots of different directions to find pretty streets and lots of lovely architecture.
Plenty of places to eat and drink around and in the square, many of the menus where in Spanish AND English, lots of friendly locals working here, many street sellers selling 'genuine' bargains on blankets on the ground. Plenty of street artists, playing music on various corners. A lovely day out, despite the inflated prices. Many menu items advertised as Gluten Free.

Take plenty of water, you will need it.

One warning I will give, if you want a milkshake in a cafe, don't order a milkshake, as that is flavoured milk, you want an ice cream milkshake to get the thick milkshakes like in the UK.

We even saw the Transformer Bumblebee and the huge and ancient olive tree.

The central square of Palma is a must see place away from car traffic. It is a rectangular open space surrounded by century old beautiful, yellowish colored buildings and animated by cafées and shops. I loved the arcades all around and pebbled pavement, feeling as back in time. Very clean and well preserved area.

You could think you were in Italy.
Sometimes there is a small market, which sell jewelry, vegetables and different things. Highly recommended.
If you want to take photos without people and stalls you have to be there before 9 o'clock.

This place is very touristy but well worth it because it’s so beautiful and there is so much history all around this area!

Good place to have a beer at hot day in Palma

A nice place to eat and be away from the hustle and bustle. We went to the Italian restaurant for an ice cream, it looks really posh but it isn't expensive, it has a good menu and the staff are super friendly.

Good for shopping, plenty stores and nice historical buildings to see.

An historic place at Palma's heart. The typical spanish ancient square made for strategic, military and administrative purposes centuries ago. Now you can find some good restaurants where you will find different options. A great place to share a coffee with a good company and why not... Some cool beers. You can take lovely pics for your social media also.

There is always a street entertainer here playing music or doing other kinds of entertainment. A great atmosphere and nice to sit and have a refreshment or food in one of the bars or restaurants here in the plaza. There are plenty shops around this area too and not far from central Palma. Yes it's a beautiful area of Palma would recommend a visit.

Below, you'll walk into the heart of Palma with shopping touristic pedestrian streets, nice older buildings, galleries, restaurants, jewellery, clothes, souvenirs, activities, and a lot of things you'd like to do.
A bit like the Marco Place in Venezzia, you encounter restaurant terraces all around, birds, artists, and some days few market stands.

I love the Olive tree! Amazing place ,lots of small shops places to eat outside tapas ,pasta pizza.. great atmosphere .

Being back in Palma Nova this year, we just had to enjoy a day in the wonderful City of Palma.

A great great place to be. Many shops, boutiques and eateries in the Square. We went there on a sunny February afternoon and had one of the best Tapas with bottle of wine and some beer.
