Palma Aquarium

Our family visited Palma Aquarium on 21st January, and it proved to be an extraordinary experience, surpassing any other aquariums we've explored in the past.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the colossal tanks that housed an impressive array of marine life. Witnessing at least 10 adult sharks gracefully gliding through the water was a breathtaking spectacle. The aquarium's commitment to creating an immersive experience was evident, and we were particularly captivated by the unique Shark Vision Board. Floating on a tiny boat above the shark tank provided a thrilling perspective that added a sense of adventure to our visit.

The facilities at Palma Aquarium were top-notch. The entire layout was well-designed, offering plenty of space for families to explore and enjoy the various exhibits. Our little ones were delighted to discover numerous play areas that provided a perfect balance between education and entertainment.

While the majority of the facilities were exceptional, we did note that some of the restaurants were closed during our visit. However, this did not dampen our experience, as the available dining options still met our needs with satisfying choices.

Great place for families with kids. Clean, now very crowded (we visited in February), aquariums look as well maintained, nice collection of various fish. In the price of the ticket you have a playground (under rook and outside) included. Classical music plays from speakers, which is a nice change as compared to other public places similar to those. If you buy tickets online, it is a bit cheaper.

To go with children, the experience is incredible.
Charming all the aquariums, all the marine life there sheltered and that well cared for.
Excellent change of atmosphere within the same aquarium in the jungle area.

Love it!!!! Absolutely love it! Price for the tickets is a bit much, but once you are inside - it's worth it. I spent 30 min admiring sharks. Honestly, you can spend all day there. The jungle is fantastic theme. Go,go,go and see.

We saw a lot of aquarium, but still it was worthed to go on this one. Children loved it and had a lot of fun. Had a nice playground. Have few 1 euro to be able to feed the fish! :) and be aware that you are going to pay 20 euro for one photo with big parrot! Children would Definitely wanted to have it. :)

This Aquarium was awesome,well worth spending a day of your holiday here.All 55 tanks have something amazing hidden inside them from colourful coral to seahorses to Nemo to the huge sharks.Everybody of all ages loves the big tank and it's very impressive (3 million litres of water).Its set over a number of floors and the sharks are just something else .Combine this with the outside play area, outside tanks,the large cafe and to finish off the 3d cinema and wow what a day.The cinema concentrates on the great whale,good storyline and worth watching.This Aquarium is on a great bus route,it's on the coast and the buses are so cheap.

Additionally, the shark boat adventure, featuring a bottom transparent boat that allows you to see sharks below you, provided a unique and thrilling encounter with these majestic creatures. 🚤🦈

A day well-spent in the magical world beneath the waves, combining wonder and education. Highly recommend Palma Aquarium for an unforgettable marine adventure!

Palma Aquarium is a marine park with 24,000 m2 of facilities where more than 8,000 specimens of 700 species of fauna and flora from all over the world live.

We paid 57€ (online tickets) for 2 adults! Beautiful and fascinating. It is amazing to see all the different types of fish and organisms that live in the ocean, especially the sharks!

Definitely worth the visit.

Great place to visit, the Palma de Mallorca aquarium offers an exceptional experience for all ages. Observing the sharks up close was a super experience, truly mesmerizing and unforgettable. Additionally, the 3D cinema presentation about humpback whales was absolutely incredible, offering amazing insights and an immersive experience into the world of these magnificent creatures. Highly recommended for an educational and thrilling day out!

Good place for visiting with kids. In November it wasn't so crowd. In summer I recommend buying tickets online. You can also find some discounts code to save 15%or so.

Place to visit in Palma and learn about sea life. 3D whales cinema was awesome! Shark tank, as well.

A lot bigger than i thought. Very fresh and cool great for a hot day. Very clean, and it wasn’t crowded.Plently of room for everyone. It has a restaurant inside and a cafetaria. Lot’s of interesting exhibits.

Awesome day with my daughter there,everything is made to please the family, the aquarium are well alived and maintained, the different universe with the jungle are absolutely awesome (we wished this jungle part was bigger).
Only downsides would be the bad food at the cafetaria and the overall cost.

Ps: the Pictures are too expensive, 10euro for one is too much

Amazing aquarium where you can spot various fishes - even sharks.
I personally recommend to purchase the ticket online as you might have a 15% off.
It’s a perfect place to spend a couple of hours when the weather doesn’t allow you to go to the beach or whatsoever.
I really enjoyed it there and took loads of pictures.
Highly recommended, it’s definitely worth a visit!

We recommend this place to visit, because it is possible to see not only sea life but also different kinds of tropical species in a tropical section. Sharks are amazing in a big tank, corals are so different also. A kids room is available, but note that there is a limit of families inside the room so you should wait in a queue.
Buy tickets in advance for the Aquarium as well as for 3D Whale cinema. Different scientific attractions will be interesting for kids.

Superb experience. Well worth the price. The 3D movie is very well made and beautiful.

It's really nice! Nice staff, normal prices for food and drinks, incl coffee. Big playground for children and lots of stuff to explore.
We have spent more than 3 hrs with 2 young kids.
The tickets were a bit too expensive but worth paying for it.

An amazing place to visit, great for adults and children alike, worth paying extra for the movie, loved the jungle area too. Lots of food places, toilets ect.
