Great food experience for us. We had appetizers and wine and we loved it.
We had several, amazingly flavorful appetizers and lovely wine. Service was friendly and offered great recommendations for us. Flavors were authentic and delightful.

I stopped over early in the evening for some appetizers and was not disappointed at all. I got the ham and tomato bread and it was fantastic. The coffee was strong. The staff made me feel at home. Definitely would recommend it to anybody who’s looking for a good fish as well because they seem to have some great options there.

This place was amazing! One of the best Veggie Paellas I’ve had in my life! Super friendly and super attentive! Don’t forget to make the reservation in advance!

Good food. Professional services. You need to reserve to get paella. However, I did not like the beggars sitting around and started awkward conversation with us while we were eating, especially during covid time. I don't know if the restaurant can do anything about it, perhaps not.

This place offered the some of the best paella we had on our trip to Spain. Although it was on the more expensive end, the taste and texture made it all worth it - it it's a huge offering they bring out!

Founded in 1950, apparently. I fell in love with an older lady who was sitting beside me. And the time moves on. Sitting here on my own now, as they prepare for a new service. Prawns in garlic had potatoes. Monte Carlo baby. xoxo.

A group of 6 and we needed for nothing and wanted for nothing on our whole visit. Our server Mario, Sara and the rest of the staff were spectacular. Best experience in Spain 🇪🇸 so far.

I had the pleasure of dining at Taberna Alkazar, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

We started our meal with a selection of Spanish classics, including the jamon, queso idiazabal, elio de bacaloa, all of which were absolutely fabulous. The red wine we chose was carefully selected and paired perfectly with our meal, enhancing the flavors of each dish.

For dessert, we indulged in some delicious treats, and the coffee was just the right ending to our meal.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly.

Overall, Taberna Alkazar truly impressed me with its superb food, excellent wine selection, and top-notch service. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

However, I would advise making a reservation in advance, as it seems to be a popular spot in the area. While I was fortunate to secure a table without one, calling ahead will ensure you don't miss out on the chance to experience this gem of a restaurant.

Great dining experience all around! When we made our reservation, we asked whether the paella we wanted to order would fit with our allergy considerations. Not only did we have a helpful discussion (via WhatsApp), our waiters had been prepped about our concerns. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Booked this restaurant because of the great paella, and they did make it happen. Apart from the arroz, they offer a very nice range of appetizers. So if you are around, make sure to go there!

This was the best service i have had during our two weeks in Europe. Our lead server went to extraordinary efforts to make sure our questions were answered and we knew what we were getting. The sole dish was excellent and again the server took the time to expertly remove the bones.

We looked at the recent reviews and we were very glad to have made this choice. Lovely location, attentive staff ( and English spoken) and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 starters and 1 would have been plenty and wild sea bass for main (cooked in salt and exquisite). Wine was very reasonable and a very good experience for our 1st night in Valencia - highly recommended.

We came across this restaurant by chance. The clams in Mediterranean sauce appetizer was delicious. Their Sea Bass was prepared perfectly. If you are an American you might ask that they cut back on the salt. Mediterranean cuisine is more salty than in the States. Apparently, it makes no difference in their life expectancy, average life expectancy in Spain is the highest in the world. Go figure. Everything that they served was delicious. I would not be afraid to try everything else on their menu. The staff were very attentive, and in general the restaurant had a good spirit. We are definitely returning.
