Excellent lunch! Make a reservation. There’s an English menu too. Gluten free bread is available if you ask. We had the €30 menu: excellent value.

A hidden gem in Barcelona. High-quality food served by students from the culinary / hotelier school that could match some of the nicer establishments in the city. We’ve been here a few times and have always been delighted.

Dishes served are stuff you’d find in Michelin kitchens - technically difficult, beautifully plated, wonderfully presented.

Weekday lunch menu is excellent value for money. I’m obsessed with every single egg dish I’ve had here. So, so good. Mains and desserts are also excellent.

The kitchen team is accommodating when it comes to dealing with allergies or dietary restrictions.

The young servers are really attentive. Sometimes, they’re shy and make tiny mistakes but of course, they’re still learning! They are eager, enthusiastic and take pride in their work. This puts them a notch above the average restaurant here in Barcelona. Highly recommend coming here.

Great place to have lunch. I highly recommend - if possible - the five (?) course menu with matching wines.
While this is a teaching restaurant for students of the „attached“ hotel and restaurant school, the food and drinks provided are excellent, and the Service is friendly.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic place with students who are learning the Service & Hospitality. They will be taking good care of you. Nice dishes with a very good twist. Always busy from 1 till 3 pm, so come in advance 😊

Fantastic value, high quality food. Make sure you reserve or you may not be able to dine here. L'Escola is the upstairs restaurant with silver service and an evening 3 course menu at around €20. All the waiters are students so be prepared for a few (sometimes humourous) mistakes, just make sure you smile and don't take it too seriously! They do get their buttons kicked by the way by their teachers if they are slipping up or falling behind on orders. A really great experience, highly recommended.

It’s a gem of a place! Very good food that you’d pay a double anywhere else. 3-course lunch menu is 12 Euro per person and it was delicious. Complimentary bottle of wine. Friendly service.

One and a half year living in Barcelona and I can say this is one of my the best food experiences. This is run by students, expect and understand they still learning. The food combination/quality/price is just amazing.

This place only gets 5 stars not because it's quality but because of its concept! With my 15+ years of being in hospitality it is admirable to see a place that still regards the trade as important as it should be. The staff in training are sometime shy and awkward, but the enthusiasm is always there. They want to be there, and that is just pure joy to be around.
Upstairs has the higher level students, so if you'd like to guarantee a great meal then book for the upstairs restaurant.
If you don't mind taking a gamble the downstairs section is well priced and decent quality food. But it seems to be the 1st year students domain, so don't expect it to be absolutely perfect. Enjoy with an open mind

The Barcelona Catering School restaurant - a clever choice. Upstairs for gourmet food, downstairs for high quality/price ratio menu. You are taken care of by very nice student waiters and cooks under tutor supervision. Early dining (19.30 to 21.00) by Spanish standards. Make a reservation, particularly on Friday. Closed on weekends.

Very sweet staff and delicious food. The service is slow and there can be some foods not perfect but you get what you pay for. Both the chef and the staff takes pereonal feedback crom each table which ia cery sweet and could be in all restaurants! Absolutely worth it for this price.

Great dining experience, the staff were so welcoming and helpful as we do not speak Spanish.

The service was attentive and the food fabulous. We really enjoyed our night here.

Great food and wonderfully attentive service from student waiters and chefs (though perhaps we got a more personal experience because it eas a slower weekday. Reasonable prices for the quality of food and service. Culinary highlight of ou 5 nights in Barcelona.

Very very good food. Apprentice are very dedicated to their work and are very sweet.
It's a bit sad to see their bosses yell at them from time to time, because they put everything they have to the service.
But I guess it's how it works.
