Hotel Astoria

Super clean. Comfortable bed with nice linens and pillows. Fluffy plush towels. Our room was small but very quiet and comfortable. Excellent location and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I would 100% stay again.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Hotel Astoria. Our most recent stay was on Oct 20-21, 2023. We arrived at 11:30 AM exhausted after an 8 -hour flight. The front desk staff were pleasant, helpful, and very informative. They could not do enough for us. Our room was available immediately. As we have previously experienced, our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well appointed. This hotel is getting to be our go to hotel whenever we are in Barcelona. It is located a short walk from the more touristy locations. Yet, there are plenty of nice restaurants/bars and shopping in the area. You will have a hard time beating the value this hotel provides and the overall experience is excellent. I would recommend giving this hotel a try, the next time you are in Barcelona.

We loved this hotel. The staff, the clean rooms, and great water pressure to shower to. The breakfast is expensive, but the hotel is wonderful and would stay there again.

We got her late at night and we were exhausted. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were received with kindness when we arrived and after an 18 hour flight with a delay we were more than appreciative of the kindness. Our room was just perfect, everything you need and it even had slippers which we used every time we were in the room. The sheets were very clean and looked new. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows fluffy like a cloud. The shutters on the window make the room pitch black so you can have a very restful sleep! The bathroom was very clean as well. The perfect little room and the location was excellent! It was a bit tucked away but still in an excellent location! Glad we didn’t book anywhere else. Great value and we were gone most of the day anyways so we are glad we didn’t book anything more expensive. It was our honeymoon trip, and a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend this hotel! This hotel is in a great spot and easy to access via the metro. Friendly staff, and clean, albeit maybe a bit dated, rooms. I would stay here again!

Surprised it's only 3 Stars! Felt more like 4 star. Lovely staff. Only criticism would be the TV's in the bedrooms have no connectivity to Cast from a phone.

A lovely hotel with great service. Myself and my partner stayed here for 6 days and never had a problem. Staff are lovely and accommodating. The rooms are nice and kept clean ( they also leave chocolates in there everyday for you ). The rooftop pool was great. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s around a 30 min walk to La Rambla but a Metro station is right around the corner too.

Chique hotel with lots of fancy decors. Front desk was very welcoming, the room was small but very clean. As well as the bathroom, which to our surprise had a bathtub. Water pressure was good and temperature perfect. Rooftop swimming pool was really small but would provided a much needed cooling down on hot days.
Location is great, with lots of bus stops and shops in walking distance.

We enjoyed a terrific lunch at Restaurante Astor. Attentive and generous service. Delicious menu del dia. And nice wine in an exceptionally tidy, stylish, and comfortable setting.

Friendly staffs and very central Barcelona, GM Mr Pepe was very helpful and let us stayed till late afternoon due to our late flight
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I am sure if I ever come back this way, will stay in Astoria Hotel

Very nice hotel located in a very good area. Supermarket 2 min walk, bus stop 3 min walk and only 5 stops to Las Ramblas. The Front Desk Team was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We still have a few days until we leave, but I really wanted to give this review as we are very pleased with our stay. The breakfast is not included, but if you choose to have your breakfast here, you must know that it's a very good one. The quality of the food is very good. The interior of the hotel is stunning, and the pool, even if it's small, is clean, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. I highly recommend this place..we are very happy we chose this hotel for our first trip to Barcelona.

Immaculate first class hotel with professional staff. Its also beautiful with classy art and a beautiful rooftop pool! I feel it deserves a 4 star rating. Also the location is perfect! I would highly recommended this hotel and I would definitely stay again. They even stored our luggage for us for a few days at no charge.

A lovely hotel, great helpful staff with excellent food recommendations! Everything is an easy 20 minute walk away, and the are was very vibrant with delicious restaurants and bars. Rooms were very clean, well kept with all the amenities. Not the biggest room but for the price we were happy.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights. Staff is friendly, check-in/out process was smooth. The bathroom was clean and updated, with great water pressure in the showers. Housekeeping was also efficient. We were satisfied with our time at this hotel and I definitely recommend staying here!

I had to post about this beautiful boutique hotel.
Roberto and Domingo who greeted me were very friendly and helpful on check-in and helping me get situated after my plane ride. The hotel is beautiful and full of amenities you'll love. The rooms are elegantly designed, very clean and just a comfortable joy to be in.
The bathrooms are luxurious rain shower heads and clean marble. I ordered Le Room Service late one night and a box came for me that was perfectly what I ordered. There's a rooftop pool, not very big but you can soak on a hot day, also a bar up there and downstairs.
Take the elevator or get your exercise on the spiral staircase.
I know where I'll be staying next time I'm back in Barcelona in February.

The room was a decent size and clean. The buffet breakfast had a nice mix of savoury and sweet as well as cooked breakfast to order. The location is a little off the tourist gothic quarter so not very noisy, but does require a bit of travel depending where you want to go, however it's not far from metro stop or buses. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend if the location suits you.

Stunning hotel with polite staff, clean rooms and a nice location. The staff were accommodating when we requested late checkout, cleaning staff and cleanliness was perfect, and everything just worked as it should. Bed was comfortable too. The décor throughout the hotel is elegant and clean. Overall a great experience, one that I would gladly stay for again.

It is an excellent 3-star hotel. Clean and nicely located. It did not have a water boiling pot and coffee machine (because it is not 4star?) Otherwise, I was quite satisfied with my 3 night stay.
