Afrodita, Restaurante Mediterráneo

I’m a BIG fan of the classic Spanish spots in Barcelona. This feels like such a small, cute, local restaurant. Ideal for a romantic date or a great night.

Went there with my spouse 'cause of former Google-Recommendations and... what can i say? ... we loved it!
The most attentive Service i encountered in all of Barcelona (without being creepy). Whatever the Waiter in charge earns... he deserves a raise!
Food was excellent. Quality of products and presentation far exceeded our expectations.
We went with the recommended menu, 'cause it made sense (yes, we're german) and got a nicely decorated plate with a variety of starters, to get to know the catalan kitchen (we're no firsties here, just saying). portion size was perfect to leave enough room for more, while still being satisfying. Main course (i went for Beef, she went for salmon [wanted something different, but the waiter insisted on fresh ingredients only]), came on pre-heated plates (ofc!) cooking time on the spot, with nice sidedishes (Patatoes and Vegetables). The Dessert was a Crème Catalun... a really nice one! All this incl. one drink was 29€ / each!!! I'd happily 've paid 36€, no questions asked. On a sidenote... nice Cava (bottle or Glass, reasonably priced, really nice Vermouth, and yes the waiter in charge knows all about it!

I highly recommend the place!

It's off the beaten track and a bit quieter, which is why I picked it. You can choose from a fixed menu (pescatarian and vegetarian options are available), and the food and service are great.

We loved our dinner there last night! The food was delicious - we took the lamb with apricot & mint and the chicken in dijon mustard sauce. The menu has a quite unique and creative selection of dishes, so it was hard to choose what to take :) the service was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back!

We found a hidden gem in Barcelona!
The restaurant is small but grande in personality and flavor. We came upon this restaurant by accident (it was raining and needed a place to shelter) but were blown away by the atmosphere, the quality of the food and the reception of Cesar. The food was spectacular, thanks to Jun the chef!
We only wish we were staying longer in Barcelona!

My boyfriend and I went in this small Restaurant .. We weren't sure to go in due to the lack of customers but in the end we stayed.. And such a great surprise the whole experience was great!
The food was the best we had in our little trip in the city as the service.
Will come back next time we'will visit Barcelona!

Wonderful food (the risotto with pumpkin and gorgonzola and the duck were fantastic), very professional and courteous wait staff, warm and comfortable atmosphere, and very reasonably priced. This place is a gem!

Very good restaurant where you can eat at a small square in barri gotic. We were there today just before heading to the AirPort and it was the best tapas we had during our holiday.

Hemos celebrado el dia de Navidad con la familia en" Afrodita". Una experiencia gastronómica excepcional. La calidad de la comida superó todas las expectativas. Un 10 para el cocinero. Además, el trato de Víctor (dueño y anfitrión) fue impecable, siempre atento y amable y que disfruta hablando de la gastronomia y de su amor a la profesión.¡Definitivamente volveré para disfrutar de esta combinación perfecta de excelente cocina y servicio de primera!"

Un gran descubrimiento, es el segundo año que organizamos la comida familiar de Navidad en este lugar. La comida es increible al igual que el servicio. Recomendadísimo

Hoy Lunes de Pascua hemos comido en Afrodita! Local pequeño pero muy bonito y acogedor, tiene una terraza recogida y con mucho sol. La atención ha sido excelente, el maître, Lupo, quien nos ha recomendado lo mejor para los que eramos y nos ha recomendado muy bien. Por parte del camarero, atención excelente! Humus de remolacha, delicioso, fresco! Ensalada de burratta muy buena! Saquitos muy interesantes! Rabo de toro con patatas paja 🤗 muy bien cocinado, tierno, la salsa brutal! Y el plato estrella Paella de Solomillo! Todo ello regado con un vino tinto de excelente calidad! Raciones grandes. Precio x persona 48€! Muy buen precio por la calidad del producto y la atencion recibida. Un Rte q no deve perderse nadie en Barcelona!

Super bra restaurant❤, litt gjemt fra massa turister. Betjening er proaktive og stå for bra service. Kjøkken er litte men kvalitet er formidabels. Spanske kjøkken med mye mer. Koselig på terrasse men også inne👍👍

Perla escondida que merece ser descubierta. Me sumo con gusto a las buenas críticas. La comida es muy gustosa. Pedimos unos crudités con dips de hummus (de garbanzos y de berenjena) de primero y un absolutamente espectacular solomillo de ternera de segundo, hecho un poquito más que al punto, tal como pedí. Para repetir seguro. Los camareros y propietarios muy atentos y educados siempre con buenas recomendaciones. Merece la pena sentarse y dejarse aconsejar. No hay que perdérselo.
