Tasty local food with their key feature being grilled meet. This time we felt like having seafood dinner so paella (an absolute star with a bit of a local accent on al-dente rice and great taste of traditional seafood dish) and bacalao (delicious, soft, loved it even after trying it in literally all Spanish restaurants I've visited in the last 20 years) were our choice. But the grilled dishes here look and most likely taste amazing. If you decide to give a try to Pierna de Cornero or just ask for a good steak, you won't be disappointed. Special recommendation for starters: Pimientos del padron (green paprika grilled). Its not expensive, the portion is super generous and tastes really well.

Had the most amazing vegetarian paella today at La Roda. The restaurant is really cool and staff are amazing. I will be back this week for another meal.

We had the tapas sampler and some beers. The sampler was plenty of food for two and was delicious. The owner was awesome and gave us complimentary shots from his personal collection. Definitely stop here and grab dinner and drinks if you’re ever in Barcelona. The owner will give you good recommendations for bars and restaurants to visit, too.

Was very quite for a Sunday afternoon, lovely meal , 😋 not sure if it was cooked fresh couldn't hear anyone cooking out the back or.any cooking smells , not sure. No ice in my bottled water , good value for the money.

First visit was great. Second visit was fantastic. Excellent food, excellent service. Special mention to the hosts; Ahmed and Arsh, who made us feel so welcomed and like some old time friend, shukran keter/moltes gràcies. True Hispanic vibe with their rustic/ medieval decors. We highly recommend this place. Great location along Rambla Del Poblenou.

It was a good experience for me, everything is so good, the most beautiful thing for me is that atmosphere it made me feel good. Their staff behavior is very friendly and always smiling. And it goes without saying that the food was fantastic

When I went to visit Barcelona back in January 2020 I wanted to find authentic Spanish cuisine. La Roda did not disappoint. The seafood paella was very flavourful. They also had a wide variety of drinks on offer. Staff were friendly and provided great customer service. The decor inside the restaurant created a gothic atmosphere which fit well with the area of Barcelona it was in.

Situated right on Rambla de Pobleneu, a very stylish interior with spacious seating. Tried the patatas bravas and pizzas. Both were excellent and fresh. Service is polite and like other restaurants in the area they do have outdoor seating. Prices are a little bit on the higher side but justified, considering the location, quality and portion sizes.

This is best restaurant in all of Barcelona. The food is delicious; the paella we had was fresh, juicy and the portion was very generous. The customer service is 10/10 and Shuhel who works there went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. This is a hidden gem of restaurant!!

We will return there again in our next trip to Barcelona

An absolutely gorgeous restaurant in a relatively quiet (for Barcelona) street. The amazing food, service and atmosphere had us coming back daily. No hawkers and a great spot to get away from the mayhem of central Barcelona whilst enjoying a steady flow of people and gorgeous dogs.

Nice atmosphere inside. Plus, they have tables outside. They, also, have good specials such as platter (for 2), salad, tomato bread and and a bottle of wine/sangria for €30.
We had platter (with all the adds), which we enjoyed a lot, but were not able too finish (a lot of food!). We, also, had sangria, which was served in big glasses and tasted good.
