Cachitos Rambla

On our last night in Barcelona with a group of 41 person we had our fairwell dinner here. What to say. The service was marvelous, the food not only good tasting but excellent quality as well. Absolutely recommendable the sliced beef steaks with sauce parisienne! Especially our support from Dimitri, Will and another colleague left no wish open!

I was surprised by some of the medicine reviews because this place was a GEM. Not only amazing atmosphere and service, but amazing tapas and great sangria. It might be the best place I dined outside in the city. I would definitely return!!!

Everything was delicious. The restaurant was warm and cozy. The waitstaff was attentive and even gave the child in our group some markers to draw.
The only thing was the cane sugar sauce with the eggplant was way too sweet and not enjoyable.

I was in the restaurant back at the end of May (26 May 2023 to be exact). The restaurant is in a wonderful, exciting neighbourhood, and the food is quite delicious.

We had ordered:
Las Patatas Bravas
Buñuelo de Bacalao con all i oli
Queso de Cabra, Trufa y miel Montaditos
Paella de Chipirones y Ajos Tiernos
And
Mango-Mandarina Sorbet

I would definitely go back again. I enjoyed very much the Patatas Bravas, with the sauce that was quite unique. My favourite was the Montaditos with the whipped cheese with truffle and honey. The cheese just melted in my mouth, and the honey was a very good quality, not very animalic, but floral and not overpowering. A very delicious start to a meal.

We had the Paella with baby squid for the main. Beautiful Paella.

The sorbet was the perfect finish to the meal. Sweet, yet very Fresh.

I definitely look forward to visiting again when I return to Barcelona.

I’m just sad that the rating for the establishment is less than 4,2*. In my opinion, it deserves more than the current rating of 3,9*.

I came back here nearly a year later (April 12 2024) and I had to review the restaurant once more. The quality has remained consistent, and I am once again saddened that the restaurant does not have the reviews it deserves.

This time, we ordered the Tortilla, and the lamb shoulder for mains, along with a regular mojito and virgin mojito to end the night.

The tortilla was cooked beautifully, a little runny inside (as it should be) and well balanced with the caramelised onions and the potatoes.

The lamb was ridiculously tender and so so so flavourful. It arrived with a side of mashed potatoes that was so smooth and balanced the lamb out perfectly, because it didn’t overpower the delicate lamb flavours.

We also ordered again the Queso de Cabra, Trufa y miel Montaditos. It is my favourite dish here, and one I was looking forward to the most. It tastes exactly as i remembered it. The cheese was soft, airy, and not overwhelming as goat cheeses tend to be. The truffle, honey, and the crispy bread at the bottom all pair perfectly together.

We also ordered the Bravas again. A bit different from last time in a visual sense, but it tasted exactly the same as last time.

This time we also ordered fried calamari with a wonderful sauce to complement it. A bit messy to eat, but beautifully done. Crispy, the calamari was not chewy and the sauce (albeit too little) worked very very well with the calamari.

There was also a DJ with the best music, and the best energy who made the night so enjoyable.

Easily Cachitos is one of my favourite restaurants in Barcelona, and you know now if I say when I return to Barcelona again, I will be back to Cachitos, I mean it.

It's definitely a quality place above its rating. The patas bravas were the best we've ever had. The shrimp with garlic was great. Goat cheese and honey truffle is a must try and of course the sangria.

The location is very nice. Also thanks to Mr. Dimitri for his great hospitality and kindness.

Amazing service, delicious food and short waiting time. I definitely recommend trying sangría de cava and their paella, both were highlights of our day. The inside of the restaurant is a cozy old-timer's dream and looks stunning, but you may be annoyed by passing-by beggars when sitting outside.

Somehow, I feel the current rating (3.9) is not fair. I had a great time here, not crowded. You can get a table even if you don't have a booking.
The food was also good. We had chicken paella,but they have many other options.

This place was amazing. My table had a couch, a very nice cushioned chair, and excellent service. Demetrie made the best french 75 I've had. My sausage, chicken, and pork Paella was delicious. My waiter made a great wine recommendation, and his service was great. I think his name was Carlos. I'm not sure, though. Definitely check this place out for dinner. Make reservations and request the table with the couch.

Loved our meal here tonight. The place is spacious and comfortable to dine, the service from the staff was warm and friendly, the food was cooked to perfection and delicious - one of the best steaks I've had. Would recommend!

Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Great environment. Really nothing to complain about. Get tapas. Get more tapas. And then get even more tapas. Then get drunk. Jose Andreas would be proud of you.

Lived up to the expectations: best tapas in town we’ve been recommended! And great service with kids friendly people, worth a visit if you don’t mind fancier places with fancier prices as well. Starting 10pm we’ve been surprised with the switch of ambiance that went suddenly upbeat and louder

From vermouth to potato bravas, this restaurant offer delicious drink and food. We are amazed by the tomatoes tartar, you must try this. The clam is fresh and juicy. The tomato bread is also crunchy and yummy. Highly recommend!

Had tapas and paella.
Portion is suitably sufficient for us to try a variety of items.
Food was wonderful all round and great atmosphere.

Very nice gazpacho that was served with bread. Nice wine selection however most of them were sold by bottles and not glasses. Service was fluent in English but we had to wait a while. That was the only downside.

We needed to have some food, and we went to Cachitos cause it was close to our hotel. Well, it ended up being the best night.

The food was amazingly delicious 🤤, and cocktails were TOP. Special thanks to Giorgio for making the best cocktails ever 👏👏👏👏

This was our first time in Barcelona ..we did love the city..we dined in many places but this one is the gem. Food is AMAZIN DELICIOUS so . Danilo was our waiter he is very good very attentive,recommended great food .Sangria is great,tapas are very interesting,PAELLA WITH BLACK RISE IS SOOO GOOD

We have had a lovely selection of tapas here on 2 nights of our week in Barcelona and it was great. Thoroughly recommend!

We were looking for somewhere for dinner for a group of 8 and picked Cachitos Rambla as it looked good from the street. Beware that they show prices of all their cheapest tapa outside. A lot are actually €8-10 rather than €3-4, but the food is good and they have plenty of space.
