We have traveled all over Europe and this place was our #1 spot for food and service. We absolutely loved it. I don’t know if this place is Forbes rated but it should be. I have had Forbes training and they follow their training to a T! It was excellent. Mauricio and Kjra were our servers and they were outstanding, and other than the food, they are the reason for this review. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will be back.

The location with the view of the harbor makes for a special occasion. Finely prepared food with great textures and flavors. Excellent Wine list. Went with Murmuri 2019.

I really enjoyed our lunch here. Service was friendly and professional. Some very accomplished dishes, especially the most rice with carabineros.

You’ll likely need to book in advance, the one table reserved for walk in’s was taken minutes after it opened when we went.
The service was as expected, nothing too special but they did help us with detailed explanations and portion sizes for us (they are actually decently large, especially the starters!). They were a tad slow because it was so busy though. Octopus and the catch of the day (red snapper) were great.

Will definitely be booking this again next time in Madeira.

Restaurant Informal is Restaurant Intimate. Like the hotel it tops, it is welcoming, gracious, intimate and serving only quality interpretations of local cuisine. I highly recommend the tuna tartar as a starter. Don’t be deterred by cool temperatures, the restaurant sets the stage with fire boxes. You will be comfortable anytime of the year.

Great experience. Mauricio and his colleagues were very friendly, know their foods and drinks. The food was of perfect proportions and the taste was simply excellent. No use of unnecessary spices or sauces, just very well balanced. The price is of above average, but very well worth it. So if you're looking for a place (on a nice boutique rooftop) for fine dining away from the mass, go visit Informal.

Amazing food and great service! From the moment when Mauricio welcomed, we already felt comfortable and excited about our dinner. Both of the interns Lisa, and Kyra were very welcoming and gave us a few suggestions on the appetisers. I would 100% recommend the bravas and the creamy rice with pesto. It was amazing.

Located inside of The Serras Boutique Hotel, Informal is a terrific option with an extremely profesional and friendly team (Danko, Lora and Rodrigo and the rest of the team) per my experience, as I was unable to decide what to get, I request for guidance and honestly everything absolutely everything was just perfect, you may end your visit at Informal asking to make a cocktail at the rooftop bar from The Serras Boutique Hotel ( El Sueño de Picasso) in fact the first studio of Pablo Picasso while in Barcelona was here.

This restaurant is maybe the world's best restaurant. The food is extremely delicious and the price is very low. The manager is very handsome and the woman manager is very beautiful. They are very kind and their recommendations are excellent.

Been there for lunch, and it's a deal. The atmosphere is quiet and high standing. Service impeccable, food is very well prepared and the dish are really nice. Recommended.

Amazing food. Patatas bravas with spicy sauce. The best we ever tried. We Took the Filet, Cannelloni and fish. All plates where really good. Tastyness of the meat cant get like this at that price in germany or switzerland. It was tasty without having barely salt. High quality of food here. The food has been served fast. We had: Pickled sardines with extra virgin olive oil, Achoblanco almond cold garlic soup and cherries. Bluefin tuna tartare with tomato, basil, amaranth, ginger, soy and wasabi. Cannelloni from farm chicken, in its own juice, Habugo ham, mushrooms and Bechamel sauce. Lamb carre, cannelloni eggplant, parmesan and pine nuts. ⠀ ⠀

Average bill 55 €, attentive service.

After eating, you can go up to the rooftop, where you can enjoy cocktails and great views of the port.

This was my second time at this restaurant and it was fantastic once again. Andrea, our somolier was amazing and recommended great wine and continued to pour our glasses after opening the bottle. She and the staff took great care of us. This is a wonderful place to relax and separate yourself from the busy ramblas experience below. Enjoy the rooftop bar afterwards with a blanket and fire to cap the evening off.

Informal has the most expensive patatas bravas I've found in Barcelona (€ 8.5), but wow, those are some breathtaking! I don't remember the exact process they use beyond deep-freezing, but they are certainly a recipe worth trying.

Great meal! The rooftop vibe was relaxing and the food and wine and cocktails were great. Andrea (the sommelier) and our waiter, Mauricio, took great care of us.

Yummy, oysters, patatas bravas, croquetas. For main I had the rice with red shrimp, it was all so lovely. However my favourite, was the lemon pie dessert. I look forward to going back trying s cocktail and having the lemon pie again.

Service was also top notch. Very very impressed.
