I reserved this restaurant to celebrate my engagement day with my partner and friends 💍 The food was super delicious, we went for 6 dégustation menus and 2 meat menus, we also ordered 4 bottles of wine. All this for 50 € per person. I am really happy about my choice. The team is professional and nice. I definitely recommend it 🙋🏻‍♂

I don’t typically leave reviews, but this was exceptional. It was my third visit, and it didn't disappoint. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant exudes charm and coziness, with genuinely warm and friendly staff who are always ready to serve and engage in conversation. The octopus was exceptional, boasting a roasted flavor complemented by a bed of mashed potatoes with truffles. The wine selection was great. The pistachio ice cream was a standout. What truly sets Antigua apart, however, is the overall experience. We were greeted with genuine smiles and never rushed throughout our meal. The staff took the time to explain each dish in a simple yet engaging manner. Whether it was a regular dish like canelón, which had a refined and creative taste, or any other item on the menu, the food was consistently excellent. The combination of outstanding food and genuinely welcoming staff transformed this restaurant into something special for me. Antigua is one of my favorite dining spots, and certainly recomend it.

Amazing food, great restaurant to end our last night in Barcelona. We got the octopus, the “flavor explosion” salad with chicken, bao with soft shell crab, oxtail bon bon, and sponge cake. This was PLENTY of food for two of us. I believe the meats were supposed to be a main course, but everything seemed to be portioned as larger tapas. These weren’t really your traditional tapas, though, as it was more of a Mediterranean-Asian fusion. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was gorgeous as well. The service was good for the most part, but there were some “awkward” moments. This could’ve been due to a cultural difference as we are Americans who do not speak Spanish. For example, we were initially charged for bread we denied, and the price wasn’t listed on the menu. They removed the line item, but this practice is illegal. It wasn’t a big deal to me at all as the food made up for any service issues, but worth mentioning. OH! Also, definitely take advantage of The Fork discounts with reservations. We probably would’ve found another option considering the prices on the menu, but with 50% this place became an incredible value.

Amazing place! It was really tasty and good food. The atmosphere was wonderful and Juan made it a pleasant experience. I would totally come back again. A perfect place for a girls dinner or a romantic date!

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Antigua for Valentine's Day, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The enchanting and romantic atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, and the special menu crafted for the day was simply divine. Every bite was a delightful burst of flavors, and we couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience.

What made our evening even more special was the exceptional service provided by Jesus and Jofre. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and their knowledge of the menu helped us navigate the exquisite offerings with ease.

Overall, our experience at Antigua was nothing short of extraordinary, and we can't wait to return for another memorable evening. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a romantic dining experience paired with outstanding service and delectable cuisine.

It is one of the best restaurants in Barcelona. We visited two times during our trip mostly because of their incredibly good octopus, but everything else was also delicious.

Great customer service! Food was excellent - we ordered the red tuna (highly recommended), grilled octopus (starter) and beef onglet. Amazing ambience too!
We booked the table for 7pm but we were slightly late (only ordered food at 745) and we were not rushed by the staff to make the order. Sebastian and the other staff were very friendly and efficient with their service. Will definitely recommend! :)

Exquisite, simply exquisite! This is not food, this is the maximum expression of art. A masterful blend of super high quality ingredients, meticulously prepared food and rousing flavor profiles. Every single dish that came out of the kitchen was triumphantly good.

The dining room is the perfect compliment to the food. A dimly lit, fairytale inspired setting filled with the glow of warm hues, ornate murals and opulent floral arrangements that serve as focal points of the dining room.

Beautiful and very cosy place, perfect dinner settings. Jesus went beyond and above making my evening really enjoyable. Super good food! Highly recommend.

Gem in Barcelona! Best restaurant we've eaten on our trip and that's why we also went back to taste the second time. Very reasonably priced for the quality they give. Juan was a great host and made the experience even better. Thanks for the great lunch and dinner we had👍

We used the offer of the fork, really worth it. They offer different menus as well, with a real good quality/price. The wine menu is extensive(can order by glass as well) and the waiters are really nice. The interior feels like an italian romance.

Really good and extensive menu. The octopus and canelon starters were two of the best highlights, and the pork cheek was also out of this world.
