Preceded this visit with a Viator walking tour, which gave great insight to Picasso. Not the nicest of men. The museum did an amazing job of displaying his work through each creative stage of his life.

Note that there are very few places to sit inside the museum. Clean bathrooms and free lockers.

The Picasso Museum has a very diverse collection of Picasso’s art, so although it is just for one artist, there is always new style/medium in every section so you will not get bored! I especially appreciated that there is a designated flow of movement in which you are directed to walk through the installations, this way you are not running into people and you can make sure you see everything. The museum is a good size, I got through it in about an hour. I came on a Thursday night, with a specific ticket that you can reserve for free the Monday before (which was a great find), but it was very crowded. I enjoyed this museum overall

Wow, wonderful collection where you can see Picasso become, Picasso. Many paintings from his study of la medinas show him trying new concepts, shapes, and abstraction. It is truly amusing to see the development. As my 16 year old daughter said, he was silly. But the paintings also show how creative and expressive one can be. It is truly inspiring. We couldn't choose a favorite. Loved, loved, loved the collection. Left loving him even more.

I had an incredible opportunity to visit and view the most extensive collection of Picasso's artwork at this museum. The exhibit showcased various classical art pieces, sketches, experiments, and his signature style that made him famous worldwide. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and highly recommend visiting this museum!

A very well curated museum. The walking path could be a little clearer, but the art was excellent and well spaced out. I thought the information on the walls was the best of any museum I’ve been too. Engaging, a good amount of content, details that are interesting and helpful. Buy your tickets online in advance! It was decently crowded on a Saturday at 10:30 am in February so I’m sure it’s crazy in the summer months.

I went there at around 11 am and a staff member came out to let us know (in English which I appreciate) that the next available tickets are for entry at 1:15 pm. I decided to come back after lunch so I lined up to get a ticket for 2:30 pm. I paid extra (€5) for the audio earpiece. All the staff speak fluent English. The artworks were great and really showcase the evolution of Picasso's work. I really recommend getting the audio earpiece for a better understanding of the Picasso and his work.

I absolutely loved this place.
It was great to see the only museum of Picasso dedicated to him while he was alive.
We took a guided tour and it was good to hear about Picasso's life, loves and everything he did during his life.

Loved my visit to the Picasso Museum. I just wish it had a few more of its their most colorful pieces. I also thoroughly enjoyed the wall of sketches. I got a few awesome gifts and the gift shop a Picasso socks and a Picasso book for kids. Some of my favorites are included.

A must visit in Barcelona. An excellent museum with a large display of Picasso's works. It is interesting to see early works and works on ceramics, which are not exhibited in other museums. Plan at least two hours for the tour...

Highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, especially the ones with the audio guide – it's worth it!

The guide eloquently narrates the stories behind Picasso and Miro's paintings. The museum is fascinating, well-organized, and a three-hour visit feels just right.

Don't miss the souvenir store on the ground floor, offering a variety of merchandise. A captivating experience for art enthusiasts!

6 stars for the sheer volume of Picasso’s work and showing the chronological order of his progression. Lovely video showing him actually making art in his studio. However, 4 stars for the overcrowding and lack of seating throughout the museum, which made it tiring. People sitting on the floor. Lots of staff though doing their best.

Gorgeous museum! We didn’t do the audio tour, but guides were at every corner and ready to help. It was clean, and the check in process was very smooth. Highly recommend!

I really loved this museum. It is in chronological order and by year. I admired the work and progression of Picasso and this museum really puts it all together in a way that is sophisticated and elegant.

A vast array of his artwork is displayed here and I would really recommend a visit to this museum if you’re in Barcelona but I’d recommend buying tickets in advance, it is a must.

It’s located in the gothic quarter of Barcelona.

Buy your tickets days in advance! If you are an art nerd, double any projected times for attractions. You can tell how much Picasso loved Barcelona. He donated over 900 early works to the city and his assistance donated more posthumously. Make the time to see this beautiful mansion turned museum.

The collection is okay, the more notable paintings are not located here. Nevertheless, I would recommend visiting. Nice shop too, with plenty of books, and not just about Picasso.
I had a bad experience with the baggage lockers, so try to avoid going with a backpack or any bag.

3 hours touring this beautiful museum on the edge of Barcelona's Gothic quarter doubled my appreciation of Picasso's genius and artistic skills. Many of the rooms in this old building became very warm during our visit, so be sure to dress in layers.

This was a great experience. We purchased tickets online. As our teenage children were under 18, no fee for them.

When I saw the original works of Picasso and Joan Miró up close, all the memories of high school and university came flooding back to me, as these works were previously only seen in our textbooks. If you're a student, take advantage of the great student discount.

An elegant art museum not to be missed upon visiting Barcelona. Located in Lower El Born district, north of Basilica Santa Maria del Mar. I was lucky to catch the last Picasso exhibit for the weekend considering it was closed Monday. It was the ultimate highlight of my trip! Truly mesmerizing artwork.
