Pastisseria La Estrella

I wanted to thank this fantastic pastry shop for helping me with a surprise cake for my girlfriend's birthday. I organized directly from Italy, and the pastry shop, in addition to having prepared a beautiful and delicious cake for me, made an agreement with the restaurant for the delivery, I absolutely recommend it.

Cutest bakery in the city which is over 150 years old. You feel like transported in the history. The people who works there are really nice and the stuff is of a high quality. I would highly recommend to visit if you are in the neighbourhood

Really worth visiting! Very lucky that we were staying close by chance. I wish i’d come sooner to try a bit of everything.
Staff a very nice, its a small place so please be patient and they will assist you.
Will definitely be back when I’m in Barcelona again.

Bought the crema pastry and it was wonderful! Not too sweet. The custard was perfect. The service was also very good here. My friend got a lemon cake and that was also very tasty

Very delicious desserts and friendly staff. I got the strawberry cheesecake, lotus cheesecake and the red velvet for take out and they were very nice packed. Will go back tomorrow to try more :)

Stopped by to try something. Had the Creme Catalan and an espresso. Was excellent as was the atmosphere and service. The store has been in existence for almost 200 years and not surprised. Couldn't resist taking a Beignet and couldn't stop eating it on the way back.

I recently visited this café and was delighted by their fantastic pastries, especially the croissants. The staff is very nice and friendly. Definitely worth a visit for a delightful treat!

Soooo good, like literally. I went there for the first time on my birthday in february and went like every week for the two following months after that ! Plus the service is tier 1, A+, 10/10 ! Never felt like I bothered or was misunderstood even with my broken spanish.
I would recommand first the cheesecake, second the carrot cake ( I sadly don't have a picture) and third the red velvet. Warning, I find the cheesecake and red velvet slightly too sugary (and I am a sugar addict, so you know) but the flavour and texture is on point for all of them. You really taste the quality of these pastries ! Also, she packs everything in a beautiful package.
I will miss this patisseria since I am leaving Barcelona.

Had the cheese and pistachio as well as the praline asking with cappuccinos. Tasty but not the flakey croissants we are used to

My family, friends and I just happened by this place while wandering around the city and loved it. It has great pastries and coffees. Everything is made in the shop. They were very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. It's pretty small, so you may not be able to find a seat.

Most probably in 1825, when this coffee-confectionery was opened, the owners would never have imagined that time was so generous. The place remains originally flawless. A true work of art filled with wonderful sweets. A must stop for tourists and residents of Barcelona. Difficult to recommend only a dessert or any other product. The will that gives, for those who enter, is to prove everything. Gluttony asks for passage, and when it is like that, there is nothing better than enjoying this wonder of place. Simply bravo! Brava Estrella!

It has a very nice vintage atmosphere and the staff are nice. We tried Crema Catalana here and liked it.

Beautiful cafe with baked goods from wall to wall. There’s a gorgeous chandelier and the wall-to-wall mirrors make the space seem three times its size.

Great pastery, realy nice young lady works there. Old looking pastery, authentic!

Cozy and lovely🥰Prices are quite low. People were kind. Definetely I’ll visit there again.

This very classic and cozy pastisseria is a treat for the eye and your sweet tooth. We loved the Red Velvet cake!

I tried their Crema Catalana which was very good. The waitress Sara was really really nice and friendly!
