Cafè de l'Òpera

We came here for breakfast and sat inside. Service was quite good and the coffees delicious. The place does attract a lot of tourists but also locals as it is one of the oldest establishments in the famous La Rambla strip. We were content with the food and service.

God I loved the coffee and Crema Catalana was sooooo good.
It was not full of tourists and that made the experience even more special, so authentic.

It was almost 10 years ago, I had the best churros ever in this place :)
This time, I had Crema Catalana and it was also delicious.
This cafe always reminds me "Baylan Cafe" in Kadıköy, İstanbul and I really like the traditional and nostalgic textures of this place as I am an old soul :) It makes you feel like you are in a flashback movie.
You should sit inside the cafe, not outside; in the chaos of Las Ramblas.

An authentic coffeehouse/pub feel with great service, great food and despite being on La rambla, it has great prices as well. We only jumped in for a Pella and a beer, and it was great.

The most beautiful cafe. The ambience is very historical and romantic. Great service with very warm and professional waiters. Food ingredients could be slightly improved, but the desserts and cocktails are perfect. I will definitely be back.

Stunning old institution of Barcelona on The Ramblas with its beautiful decor from days of old. Lovely vintage interior.

Really nice traditional place. Great to enjoy the spirit of Barcelona! For this spot really reaonable prices. Good place for women travelling.

The churros were delicious and cheap, and venue was cute.
The sugar comes on the side so you can sweeten to your own desire. The chocolate is an extra charge.

One of the most iconic cafes in Barcelona. I cannot say much about the food, because we went there for just some nibbles after the cinema, but the atmosphere is priceless. This is pure liberty elegance!

In this cafe, on Monday and Tuesday late afternoon (and probably also on other days but I m not sure when), there is the opportunity to participate in the super interesting "socratis cafè" where people meet and talk about philosophy in everyday life.

A blast to the past, the place screams vintage. The coffee is excellent and my friend had the churros which she said felt like grandma's recipe. Lovely vibe amidst the busy street of La Rambla.
