Overlooked and under visited, I would recommend this museum to those with a deep interest in anthropology or ethnography. The collection is small but a few nice trinkets from Catalonia's past. The basement contains a fascinaing collection of items from around the world, as well as a history into the people behind Barcelona's anthropological past

Great collection. I loved discussing with the receptionist and learn about the concepts behind the local customs.

Such a great place to visit full of tonnes of interesting artifacts and sculptures. It was empty which we appreciated, but it should be full! A little hard to detect, probably their greatest flaw. Highly recommend!

This is such an informative little museum! We loved the videos that accommodated some of the sections. And the visual storage was soo cool! Definitely a great way to learn more about Catalan culture and how it relates to larger anthropological themes.

This museum is kind of an uncommon attraction. I thought the ideas in its exhibits were valuable and nuanced because they illustrated Catalan culture as a window into Human culture at large. I'd totally go there again, and if you find yourself on Montjuic and are at all interested in anthropology or the nature of human culture, I think you'd like what you see there.

This is a fabulous and fascinating place. The way they have organised the exhibits is novel and piques your interest. The "guide books" can't seem to be able to adequately describe the experience you can have if you visit. They dont do it justice. Well worth a look and better than some other more central attractions I have experienced whilst here.

Many lovely objects, but mostly a thoughtful and stimulating explanation of the ethnography all around us. Also fun displays of their storage shelves. Not big but cool. Thank you!

The ethnologic museum seems to be a hidden gem of culture. There was so much that was well explained and illustrated here about Barcelona's history, people, tourism, and culture. I thought it was very forthright and educational. I highly recommend coming to see this if you want to learn about the nuances and inner workings of the people of Barcelona.

It's a museum describing the history, the culture and the society of Barcelona. It is not very big, but it contains interesting insights about the city and its history. I found it quite enjoyable.
