They have a good cheese collection. The meat is good but not worth the hype at all. There could also be an improvement upon the spice and asian food and condiments collections. The bakery is the best part I would definitely say.

Galal Abu Ghazala is an amazing entrepreneur… he started this business when he came from Australia by importing outdoor grillls … then he opened a small meat store across the street from the current big Gourmet store … then he opened the first Gourmet store as the first ever upscale grocery store in the modern Cairo .
Gourmet is now diversified not only in their upscale product mix but also they have their own private labels which gives much more confidence for the customers… glad that we have such a decent place to shop in and thanks for the grand Entrepreneur Galal Abu Ghazala.

You'll find a lot of unique groceries here. Different types of mushrooms, vegan options and a great selection of ready to eat foods

Gourmet is very clean and for those of us who have food allergies, you can find alternatives like oat milk, most fruits and veggies are organic. Its a good place to shop even though some things are a bit pricey compared to other stores like their cereals.

Gourmet is probably the best “supermarket” in Egypt if you are looking for home comforts/imported food stuff. A great range of local and imported meat, fruit and vegetables are always fresh and loads of hidden gems!
