It's always open, serves a wonderful breakfast - with the huge wheel of Yemeni bread - & has beautifully friendly service. Very cheap too.

Excellent Yemeni restaurant,the grills and the casseroles are superb quality. It's also very reasonably priced and service is speedy and friendly. Be sure to try the bread and a Adeni tea.

I made a Yemenite friend on my trip to Egypt and he took me to this restaurant. It’s delicious, authentic food from their country. The menu can be a bit hard to navigate if you don’t read Arabic, and it may take a minute to flag down the staff. We ordered the fahsah, mandi (lamb) with rice, and mas pub malaky. For fahsah, you tear off pieces of the bread and scoop up beef from the bowl with stew. You can show this to the waiter or order by pointing to the pictures on the table. Make sure you bring cash to pay!

Opt for a table or low seating, modesty curtains available, as you settle into a tiny little dining environment. Feels a bit more special when you’re the only customers around to greedily devour heartily, stewed dishes cut with fresh vegetables. Beef and chicken dishes offered up spice enough to remind you Yemeni food is anything but bland. The real treat though are the huge breads for consuming everything from broad bean and cheese to handfuls of gorgeously spiced and stewed vegetables.

The staff is very helpful and the restrooms are comparatively clean. The Fahsa and the Fahsalia with eggs are always worth a try.

It can be crowded and hot in summer.

If you don't mind a place that's not the cleanest, and you don't mind getting your fingers a little messy, but you want incredibly tasty cuisine, then this is the place.

Can't recommend enough the white bean or chicken tagens, delicious! Their bread is half the meal, and perfectly compliments the dishes.

My favorite Yemeni restaurant. They have more options and better tasting dishes than the Yemeni restaurant across the road.

Their dishes are usually served in bubbling bowls of sauce, vegetables, and meat, that you dip out of with the fresh bread.

Well worth the drive from downtown.

Very humble place but the best yemeni food you could eat in cairo.. Don't miss eating (fahsa, aqda, haneeth, rashoush bread, tameez bread) super cheep with awesome quality meat.

Good Yemenī food and rashoush. My fav was the fahsah on the madarh👌🏻❤ one thing, they need to have separate bathroom. Being in Doqī all day one needs to clean their hands before eating but I wouldn't dare go in even tho husband suggested he'd go in with me. Thus, I bought hand sanitizer so I don't get in a mess like that again lol. • August 15, 2018.

The food is delicious, plentiful, and cheap, and the staff are friendly. There are other good Yemeni restaurants nearby, but this is by far the best value.
