L'Uliveto Italian Restaurant

Wow. Hands down the best meal I have had in years. The fish was perfect. And the dessert almost made me cry tears of joy. They accommodated my allergies and need for a gluten free meal. This restaurant is a must to try. The servers were incredible and so kind. We will be back!

If I can give this place 7 stars I would do.

5stars restaurant, we made a reservation late , and arrived almost in the closing time, and sinsed some inconvinience from the staff , but they immidiately made sure to welcome us with great hospitalaty, ( the manager And assistant were professionals) and the waitor was extrodinary with his skills as he was the best in directing us to what to order.. plus the food was perfect, the view and atmosphere was great too , we had a great experience

Stayed at the Fairmont hotel for three nights and had my breakfasts at L’Uliveto Restaurant. I also had one dinner at the restaurant where I picked the Wild Truffle Risotto which I found to be really good, loaded with flavor. The staff, Ahmad and another young lady, were extremely friendly and helpful. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Excellent, have been to the restaurant many times. Service and food is top stars 5/5. Beautiful atmosphere and music - surprised it's not a busy restaurant. Gorgeous decor, great staff, and prices are reasonable for the service/quality you get! I recommend the mushroom risotto, sea bass, grilled chicken and calzone pizza, lots of wine to choose from

Nice Italian restaurant overlooking the Nile. Our server Sameh Edward was fantastic! Such a nice guy who provides excellent service. The customer service is fantastic and you couldn’t ask for a better staff here at the Fairmont. Thanks for a nice dinner!

Honestly, I was planning to write some heartfelt feedback but as I'm writing this I realized that the experience was beautifully indescribable.
Everything about this restaurant is incredible. The food was scrumptious. It was cooked to perfection that it literally made us melt. Even the complementary Italian bakery, they were light yet very tasty and satisfying. We had pizza and pasta which were topnotch. For example, Margherita is supposed to be some basic pizza but over there, it's heavenly. The portions are very generous and the prices are unbelievably handy. So it has it all: quality, quantity and great value for money.
The staff is also exceedingly hospitable. Especially Mr. Sameh who was warm and friendly, yet very professional. He didn't rest until he made sure that we're being well-taken care of.
Even the simplest details like the ambience and the interior of the restaurant: they were very cozy yet fancy. And excuse me for dwelling onto something less important, but it's very essential to me, as it helps setting off the vibe: the music playlist of the restaurant was obviously meticulously picked. There is not one bad/loud/noisy song. A mixture of classic music and contemporary calm songs that were the perfect match with the mouth-watering food and the breathtaking view of the Nile that get you cloud 9.
Overall, this place is just the right amount of luxury and comfort. I LOVED IT!! And I'm beyond thrilled with my experience. Do yourself, your soul and wallet a favor and pay this restaurant a visit. And thank me later.

We went to celebrate my parents anniversary... The iftar buffet was excellent, the variety was very satisfying and you can hardly go wrong with the selection.
This place had the largest variety of live cooking stations that I Have ever seen in any buffet (liver - sausages - shawerma - fatta and molokhya and of course the pasta and lamb stations)
Service and view were both excellent
If there's an area of improvement.. It will be changing the florist or table decorator, I paid extra for a special occasion table setting and decoration and what I got were some artificial flowers and the color selection hardly suited the occasion
Yet again this buffet is highly recommended and I will definitely be back

Excellent service . Food very good. Staff tried very hard to overcome language barrier and my lack of knowledge in interpreting the menu. Ashrakat was especially helpful and pleasant.

This is really a special place.
Not only is the sea food buffet a special buffet, but the service is top notch.
To thise who are not familiar with this buffet, there are three soups to choose from cream seafood, brisque, and vegetable minestrone.
Then a huge top notch salad bar with a sushi corner. Believe me when I say that their sushi that are prepared by their Saigon sister restaurant is easily among the best in Cairo. The salad bar contains several delegacies.
For the main course you have two options usual buffet including dishes chicken tandoori, beef medalion, and paella; and fresh fish you choose to make to order either fried, grilled, or sauteed. They have two live cooking stations one for pasta and the other makes sea food tajin and pizza. Again, not the everyday pizza or pasta, but much better.
When it comes to the service, the people there are really nice. Mr Ahmed Zaki has always been nice to us, and Mr Mosaad has been very attentive and welcoming to all of our requests this time and every time we visit this wonderful place with a nice big smile. Actually, all the people working in this restaurant are very good.
