I have completed MSA 100 with the Academy and have commenced 101. I live in the Australian bush, so I am completely reliant on the online courses and the work of the teachers to help me learn Arabic. The course material is excellent and the teachers I have had so far, particularly Mrs Noura Mohamed, have been simply outstanding. I am very pleased that I chose the Arab Academy above all the other possible providers.

I was studying for half year standard arabic in my country and the progress was very slow. After 6 months when I visited Arab country I was barely able to say anything. As I felt that I wasted my time, I switched to Arab Academy and after 4 months I can proudly say that I am able to communicate and understand some basics and that people around me are impressed with my knowledge.

The customer service of the academy is amazing and fast responding, and the flexibility with timings and teachers is really good.

I must say that my teacher Wesam Abulnour is one of the best teachers I've ever had and that she is sooo supportive and patient. With her one hour seems like one minute and I am honestly looking forward to each of our classes.

This is literally my best investment in life and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering learning arabic.

My kids really enjoy learning Arabic from Arab Academy. The teachers are great, and keep all one-to-one lessons engaging. Highly recommended. The only negative thing I can think of is that their teachers' schedules fill up pretty fast so it gets difficult to book a time. Maybe they should hire more teachers.

Wonderful experience learning from Arab Academy for the past year. It offers fully comprehensive courses for students from diverse backgrounds and learning goals (I study Modern Standard Arabic as a linguistic interest). The course is really affordable; online materials are EXTREMELY well organised (they keep you very engaged and content is relevant) much much more than all other language-learning apps / online courses, and I have tried several. The 8 video lessons are extremely helpful with listening and speaking skills. I have been studying with Arab Academy for two months and I could not be more satisfied! The course lessons are well structured and comprehensive of all parts of communication (writing, lexicon, grammar, speaking, listening). The most useful element of the program is one-to-one speaking class - If I had more time during the week, I would have purchased the package with 8 lessons per month! Hanaa is my teacher (you can choose the teacher you prefer every lesson) and she is absolutely great, patient and always try to make me speak!

This school is phenomenal. I cannot believe that in less than 6 weeks, I feel super comfortable with the alphabet. My tutor Hanna couldn't be more talented as a teacher and the online stuff is incredibly well done, easy to use. Finally, the HQ staff is very responsive and helpful. Love them so much. I am confident that within a year, I can read and write Arabic and engage in basic conversation. That is my goal! Thank you, Arab Academy.

Nowadays there are a lot of options for learning Arabic online. Apps like DuoLingo and Rosetta Stone and dozens of others. YouTube videos. Podcasts. But at some point you need one-on-one interaction to really acquire listening and speaking proficiency. There are many options for this also: HelloTalk and Tandem to find conversation partners, italki for paid tutors, etc.

I've tried all of these, and still use some of them. They all have their advantages. So I'll tell you why I recommend Arab Academy if you are serious about studying Arabic.

First, they have a wealth of online lessons including reading, listening comprehension, and grammar. This material is about what you'd get from a good textbook, but the exercises which give you immediate feedback are fine, even if the web interface is a little outdated. Each lesson also ends with a writing exercise which is hand corrected by one of the instructors. There are courses for every level from beginner to advanced, in MSA, Egyptian dialect, or Quranic Arabic (if you are learning for religious reasons, which I am not).

These online, self-paced lessons are good but nothing you couldn't get from other Arabic course apps. The real value of Arab Academy is the one-on-one lessons with professional instructors.

You get two 50 minute lessons per week, which you can schedule at a time convenient to you. There are about a dozen different instructors and you can switch between them or stick with one or two you like. They have pretty diverse schedules so you can get just about any time that works for you. I get a lot out of these lessons. The instructors are all professional and they will tailor lessons to your preference and send you reviews afterwards. I've had good experiences with all of them.

Arab Academy is expensive compared to some other online courses. However, for two one-on-one lessons a week with native instructors, plus all the additional learning materials, it is actually pretty economical. (Compare what two hourly lessons per week on italki would cost.)

Arab Academy has been online for many years and they also run an in-person course in Cairo. I hope I'll be able to go there someday. In the meantime, I think this is really the best option available for serious Arabic students short of an immersion course or taking classes at a university.

I have been studying at the Arab Academy for five months, and so far, I love everything about it. The lessons are well planned, and the contents, including reading text, vocabulary, expressions, Arabic Grammar, listening, tests and writing composition, are excellent. Studying the Arabic language is not new to me, but with the Arab Academy, it is a unique experience. I already can see improvements in my Arabic. While teachers are professional and always available to support and guide, the platform is user-friendly and allows self-learning. You can practise as much as you can. The English translation is perfect and makes self-learning easier. The administration is highly professional and always ready to assist. I highly recommend it.

I've been a student at Arab Academy for the last 7 months and I've had such a good experience. The customer service is great - the staff are very kind and respond quickly to questions. The teachers are also awesome! Learning a new language can be very challenging, but when you have supportive teachers who are passionate about the work they do and who encourage you to work hard and do your best, it makes it all worth while. One of the things I love most about Arab Academy is that there are different teachers available to do your speaking classes with. This really helps with scheduling, as well as finding teachers that you may work better with based on their different teaching styles and personalities. The online modules are also well organized and allow you to move at your own pace, while being able to go back and review past lessons.

I have really enjoyed the course. I highly recommend it! As you move through the course, taking advantage of the one-on-one lessons is critical. And the teachers are absolutely wonderful!

I've learned Arabic with Arab Academy for a month and a half, and so far, I am very happy with the service and platform. The course material is great and it consists of articles on various topics, accompanied by a lot of exercises, which allows you to enrich your vocabulary in an easy and natural way. You can learn whenever you want, at your own pace, and what's great, each package consists of speaking lessons with native speakers as well. You can choose between Modern Standard Arabic and the Egyptian dialect.
The whole staff is highly professional, starting from the support, to the teachers (my teacher Hanaa is excellent) ! I highly recommend Arab Academy!

I have been studying for two months and I am very satisfied. Before studying here I researched well other online options to learn Modern Standard Arabic, and Arabic Academy so far has been the best for the quality in materials, professors for live speaking sessions (super professional and knowledgeable), customer attention and the best price out there. Now my daughter is studying here as well.

I have been using Arab Academy for about 9 months now and I absolutely love it. The teachers are amazing and so patient. the study material makes it easy to self-study and the teachers are there to review the material. I can do it at my own pace. I find myself speaking arabic now. They have taught me so much. I would definitely highly recommend it.

A very high quality academy for improving your Arabic. Very good and dedicated, teachers/workers/staff. Administration is very fast in answering if you have any questions. They are always willing to help to improve your skills. Good learning system with digital lessons on the internet are very helpful also. Lessons by Zoom are always good and on time. They are really wanting to help you and do everything they can to provide what you need. I strongly recommend this academy for studying Arabic.
