When you are there, you will watch the paradox of all the living activities side by side to the historical cemeteries. Also, on your way there you will watch the small shops for the craftsman, where you can exchange chatting, buy traditional goods, and also take photos

Complex of Sultan al-Ashraf Qaytbay
The Qaytbay’s complex, was built in 1474, includes several facilities, such as a mosque, school, dome, sabil (water tab for passerby to drink from for free), tub (drinking trough for animals), and rab’. The complex will tell us stories and life of Circassian Mamluk dynasty. Qaytbay was the 18th Burji Mamluk Sultan of Egypt. There is also which is the third biggest Quran holder in the Islamic monuments. It also has two stones with footprints of the Prophet Muhammad.

Great spiritual little place with old decorations & ornaments beautifully crafted alongside every inch of its walls ,ceilings ,doors, colored windows, dome & minaret .....its a bit hard to reach into it as it needs someone expert in these places ..the people are so friendly around it !

Well kept but small inside

Even though it is a small mosque, it has a beautiful architecture, it moves wonderful sensations being inside; it is a wonderful experience
Stained glass windows are amazingly detailed and beautiful, every single corner is ornamented. It is an excellent option to visit, recommendable.
