El Mawardia

My cousin Ken and I had the extreme pleasure of dining at the El Mawardia restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel & Casino in Cairo, Egypt tonight. (11/14/2023) The restaurant is the epitome of comfortable elegance.

Our waiter was polite, charming, and attentive to every detail. My cousin had a wonderful meal of grilled beef, peppers, and onions, served with thin Egyptian bread. I ordered the meatballs with peppers, onions, and coriander in a tomato sauce. It came with a side of rice, and delicious Egyptian bread. I ahad Om Ali for dessert! It was sweet and savory!
The food was a visual delight, and the taste divine! It was beyond superb! I stopped the Head Matre d, Khaled, who was visibly present and actively engaged with customers and the smooth operation of the restaurant. I shared with him how exquisitely delicious my meal was, and asked he share my compliments with the chef. He was very happy I was so satisfied with the meal. He said he and his team had been working very hard this past year in creating a wonderful dining experience for guests. They certainly achieved it! He told the chef how pleased I was with the food, who then came back out with Khaled to speak with me personally. I was honored to meet him! They let me have a picture taken with them both. I had never eaten Arabic cuisine before, enjoyed the meal emensely, and highly recommend this fabulous restaurant!

Excellent tagine. Great traditional food. Very friendly and attentive service from Khaleel and his team. Thoroughly recommend it, often overlooked as it is tucked away downstairs away from the other restaurants in the hotel

This restaurant has consistently good Egyptian food in a nice atmosphere. The service is friendly. The prices are in-line with those at other fancy hotel restaurants in town. I recommend the Mozza Fatteh, which was delicious and falling off the bone.

Had an early dinner after 34 hours awake and over 18 hours flying which was a good choice. The food excellent and so was the service. Would recommend the stuffed pigeon.

الخدمه ممتازه والاكل جيد جداً والشيشة والخدمه من تغير الفحم اول باول ، وماقصر معانا اخونا محمد يحيى

ازعاااااج وفي مطربه صوتها زي النعجه المفلوته بس الخدمه والاكل رائعه

الطلبات كباب شربه عدس سلطه طماطم بالجبن
السعر جيد خصوصا انه داخل فندق الشيراتون
موقعه الدور الارضي بالبرج الشمالي بفندق الشيراتون

ملاحظه يقدم فقرات اغاني ورقص بس انا كنت فيه فتره بعد الظهر والمكان رايق وهادي

لمطعم بالطابق الارضي باوتيل الشيراتون القاهره. محدود الطاولات. اما الاكل بعلمكم بس اكل. ماشاءالله طلبت كباب ( قطع لحم) لذيذه يستحق تجربونه. بس للمعلوميه يقدم طرب ورقص. انا حضرت فترة العصر. لكن شفت الاعلان. يقدم بالليل

الاكل لاباس به الجو العام غير ممتع للاسف ، المكان نظيف وخدمتهم ممتازه والعاملين خلوقين ، لكن للاسف الجو العام غير ممتع ، السعر كان للشخص الواحد 500 جنيه ، بصراحه ما يستاهل هذا السعر ابدا
