Amazing atmosphere and view, the food was delicious, the service could be slightly better, but still thankful for the nice hospitality,

Remains one of the most unique outdoor venues in Cairo. Highlight this time is the Octupos salad - taste, presentation and portion 👌.

My friend and I went and had the Italian street sandwich, the brisket burger, a cup of cappuccino, a glass of hot lemon water (for my cold), and a raspberry cheesecake. It was all amazing, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was just superb away from the street noise. The food portion was reasonable and fulfilling.

It’s a nice place to chill in; whether day or night. If you are not bothered by the Arabian tourists scouting for working girls it’s a nice place to eat a burger and have a cold beer and talk with friends.
There can be some strange people roaming about but everyone keeps to themselves. The architecture and ambiance is great once you filter out the city noise and lurkers!!

Lovely place for a drink or meal. Outdoor seating, but with enough shade to be cool. Pricey by Cairo standards.

As of May 2017, hotel construction was still ongoing, so there is a big construction wall, rather than a garden view and there is a lot of construction noise.

Burger and quesadilla were nice. Nice spot in the hotel and service was pleasant. I don’t remember the prices but I’d come again.

The best garden -promenad in Cairo

I always loved to share breakfasts, lunches or dinners in this fabulous promenade with friends or business meetings

I always say this is the most peaceful place in Cairo. I come here a few times a week for the last few months, it is so peaceful sitting in the garden, whether it's for a coffee or a wine, all the staff are always excellent and friendly at the marriott. Beautiful surroundings at the former Palace :)

The atmosphere is quiet good, we enjoyed it, employees are polite but the services are reeeeeeealy slow.

One of the nicest places for open air outing in a garden. They sometimes have live music which adds a chearful atmosphere. They should consider to have it daily.

Nice quite place for a snack or a meal or even just a walk and a visit in the heart of buzzing Cairo. Perfect stop for a break from the noise and stress. The garden and cafe sit in a beautiful historical palace built at the time when Egypt underwent some of its greatest transformations, under the rule of Khediv (Viceroy) Ismail Pasha, grandson or Mohamed Ali Pasha, where egyptian and european exchanges have been at their peak. The architecture is a must see!

Great food, wonderful people watching. Be sure to visit the arabic bread oven and try some fresh baked pita bread.

Great place to lunch outside. Either at JW Steak or the Italian Restaurant. Staff is attentive and kind. Definitely a nice place to lunch outside in Cairo.
