Oriental vibe, with excellent service and delicious Egyptian plates.
Very crowded, preferably to reserve ahead.
Price is higher than others, though reasonable.

Worth a visit and is just inside El Khalili bazaar. The food is tasty and very affordable. Music and decoration looks nice as well!

Absolutely beautiful place with amazing food, had the mix of cold and hot appetizers which was delicious, especially the falafel, with warm bread on the side. Definitely a place to go in this area

Behind a discreet door, you’re in a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service and amazing food. It’s almost like stepping back 50 years with the wait staff wearing traditional Egyptian outfits. The food was sensational and I’d rate it as one of, if not the best, dining experiences I had in Cairo and Egypt

Absolutely not the best food in Cairo but a great place to enjoy when Khan El Khalili.
Impeccable service, freshly prepared food, live music in the middle of historical bazaar.
Mombar was a little bit dry, falafel portion was small but lamb hawawshi was to die for.

Very clean restaurant with good tea/coffee and delicious food. In the evening at around 6pm, there are even musical performances. The staff are friendly. We had the mixed grill and it was very tasty.

I’ve been to this café many times and I really don’t know how it’s only 4.3/5, but I assume it may be because they don’t accept walk-ins only pre-bookings - so make sure to call a couple days before. This is my favorite café in the world and it’s quite the experience to visit. They have classic Egyptian dishes and desserts, live music, entertainment (singers, belly dancers), and hookah. But be sure to reserve the café section, not the restaurant because the restaurant doesn’t have the live music.

There is a concert of old songs every day from 8 pm to 12 midnight. You can spend time in Khan al-Khalili and Al-Mu'izz Street, and then go to the cafe .

A very nice place with a vast range of traditional food. Great decor, friendly service and affordable prices. Note that after 7PM there is a minimum amount to pay per person.

Excellent option for anytime of the day. It has many options for every taste and whatever we tried it didn't disappoint. The staff was very quick and kind. Recommended for sure!

This is a great place for lunch after a busy day shopping at the Khal El Khalili Bazaar. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious with many traditional local foods. We had the stuffed pigeon which was amazing. It is actually inside the Bazaar which adds to the experience

Tucked in a corner of the Khan al Khalili bazaar, this cafe / restaurant is a wonderful reprise from the bustle of the street.

Ordered a beef hawashi and chicken shawarma — both excellent — but the falafel is definitely the cornerstone of this place.

Also get a fruit juice (I opted for Mango). It's not really juice as you know it — more like a really thick slush from mashed fruits. Yum.

Usually at night get busy & crowded where you have to wait for a while to get seated, but it worth it... you will enjoy

I love their Turkish coffee along with Sahlab..

But didn’t like at all some of their appetizers, it was so salty.

Absolutely there is no car park near by,, you have to walk in the old market to reach it.. the walking it self it is a joyful between the shop and lovely Egyptian salesman

Authentic Egyptian food in a 600 years old building! Amazing vibes and decor, they also have live singer in the cafe part, really fun atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. It felt like a family gathering because everyone (tourists) knew the staff because they go there often. If you go, tip the cute tabla (drum) guy.

The ambience is quaint and charming and the food was superb. We ordered kabab and kofta,baba ghanouj and mango
The have a singer after seven pm. The shaisha was good and the basbousa was so soft and moist the best I have had. Service was excellent and waitresses were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended
