Pub 28

Classic Pub.. I was there with uncle in the 80’s, on my own in the 90’s, with friends in between and this time with my son .. nice cold Stella throughout the years.

Excellent place for a drink. Quality service and nice cozy atmosphere. Can get a little smokey but that’s Egypt.

Great pub in Cairo ! You feel the history of the place, popular for generations! Great food to share, from the filet to the liver to the cheese dip, nice ambiance, mix of locals and foreigners, definitely a spot to visit on your Cairo trip

Nostalgic place..frienldy and cosy and i always find someone that i know there..no planning required.
The food is delicious

Fast and friendly service. Food is better than what you get in pubs but they still call "Cordon Bleu" "Chicken Kiev".

Amazing menu and value for money, no wonder place is fully booked most of the days. Just the bar and bartender can be less arrogant and behave like a server not the owner hahaha.

I visited this bistro several times along many years and it never changed for the worse! I have always enjoyed it very much. Good food, good atmosphere and friendly service.

One of the first bars in Cairo. Very dark and cozy inside. Reasonable prices for beers. Easy to have conversation and close to more entertainment if needed.

The small door leads to one of the very few bars in Cairo (at least we had a hard time finding them). There you'll find a relaxed atmosphere, good drinks and food. Women wore modern style clothes. Good service. Expect extensive smoking.

It is what it is - a Pub. Not a bar, not some hipster hang out, it is in essence a Pub. Food is great, service is classic and spot on. Clients are decent :) a little bit spiced priced but it’s worth it for one of the very few authentic experiences in Egypt.

I’ve been there a year ago, Pub 28 is located in heart of Cairo, Zamalek. Had the best playlists all the time. All of the workers were always welcoming and warm.
You can find both darker and brighter sides to sit, eat, or drink in the bar. missed being there, grabbing beer with friends..

small but enjoyable ,,,,parking issues so use uber or a taxi,,,,the staff is nice & friendly to a certain extent,,,one of the best pubs in the zamalek area and maybe in cairo in general..i rate it 4/5.

1. IMPORTED Alcohol In EGYPT IS EXPENSIVE. Everywhere you will go it will be expensive if you compare it to European standard. But for Egypt, the prices at pub28 are quiet fair. I have just drunk a 50ml Hennessy at the st. Regis bar for 960egp… so don’t call this expensive. If you want to know more about prices check the YouTube channel Egypt Made Easy. If you want to save money, just drink a local beer. Truth is you are in a muslim country and you should be grateful there is a place where you can sip a drink and chill… always go there when I’m in Cairo, lovely people and nice vibe

Food is tasty, staff are attentive, beer and wine is cheap! Like 65 egp for a meister max or something like that.

Its a really fun place to go in the nightime they play great music and you can bring your own bottle of alcohol too

Its the perfect place for anytime of the day, breakfast, dinner or just some drinks in the night.

Nice atmosphere, a gem in zamalek.

can be a little bit pricy, but very nice food and great atmosphere and friendly staff
