Exquisitely presented and well labelled. The staff were all very friendly and were not at all intrusive (I wanted to just wander round myself). It really is a beautiful place to walk around, with lots of places to sit down outside too.
My photos do not do it justice. I'll probably return

This place is amazing and there was hardly anyone there. Be sure to have some small bills for tips as there are a few people that will guide you around certain sections. I'd skip the hunting museum. It's bad taxidermy.

A ( unknown)!pearl at the border of the Nile. I had the intention to visit it for 45 min. but I stayed 2 hours. Amazing garden and so quite place in the center of Cairo. The several buildings ( palace / hunting museum/clock tower now mosque / throne palace/….all are well restored and you find information in Arabic and English as well. Only cards are allowed to pay at entrance ( 180 Eg. pound in January 2024) Place to visit !

Beautiful palace, fairly recent in terms of Egyptian history but the beauty and symmetry is all there .

Great for those quiet days and situated downtown.

Entrance was cheaper than other places .

Tour guides were very friendly, not too pushy for money and seemed knowledgeable.

This fascinating palace was constructed by Prince Mohamed Ali Toufic, the fourth grandson of the renowned Mohamed Ali Pasha, the founder of Egypt's most recent royal dynasty, which was concluded by King Farouk.

Prince Mohamed Ali served as the heir presumptive and chief regent of the Egyptian throne for a significant period but never ascended to rule himself.

The palace and all its annexes bear witness to a remarkable display of luxury, featuring carefully crafted decorations and ornate details.

A visit is highly recommended.

It is a very old place for more than 120 years and a good historical place to visit.
I wish everyone to visit this great historical place, which expresses the beauty of Egypt 120 years ago

WOW!! An amazing experience that I would love to repeat. You can’t come Egypt without experiencing this little gem.
Tickets are not expensive and it is worth so much more I don’t mind saying.
Prince Mohamed Ali Manial Palace is a beautiful palace. The architecture, the rich history and beauty of it all is awe inspiring.
The palace offers a free guide after the purchase of the tickets and it’s well worth it. We got a lovey young girl called Alaa. An amazing, friendly and knowledgeable girl who knows her history and the history of the palace and the Prince. She made the experience all the more worth it and I’m glad we took them up on the offer.
The tour went at our pace and I could have spent the whole day there after the tour just exploring everything even more and taking more pictures.
I can’t describe the beauty of the walls and ceiling and tiles. The Prince was a religious man and was very knowledgeable in the Holy Quran. In each room of the palace he has Quranic verses inscribed in and around the palace walls in beautifully decorated and colourful tiles.
The Prince was an avid art collector and ahead of his time in so many aspects and the love of the Arts and horses is clear to see.
The grounds consists of five buildings- The reception palace, The clock tower, The Mosque, The Residence Palace and the Thrown Hall. There’s also a small animal museum.
Each and every room is unique with a unique ceiling and doors. A lot of thought and dedication was put into the rooms.
Go visit!!

This is an absolutely fantastic sight. If you’re ever in Cairo I recommend everyone to go and see it. The only downside is that you cannot see the second floor of the main palace building because it still needs restoration. But the most beautiful part of the palace is definitely the mosque.

A unique place to visit. Well looked after. The guides are young students - very friendly and knowledgeable. The reception will let you keep your bag there for a small fee. Drinks are overpriced, but that is to be expected.

A must visit, you can’t be visiting Egypt and skip this masterpiece, the palace located on the Nile and its full of unique architecture, decorations, abd artifacts, every hall in the palace has a stunning ceiling, and it’s very well preserved, I would love to go again and again, you need at least 2 hours to see all over the palace area, go go go without hesitation.

It's an absolute stop in your Cairo visit. As its not very large, or central I would go so far as to call it a hidden-gem. I liked the explanation and the rooms (even if off access) we're impressive. Ive met kind people but unfortunately the park was off limits due to reconstruction.
An oasis of peace in a very loud city.
