La Palmeraie Moroccan Restaurant

I can't say that I really liked the cuisine in this restaurant. But the atmosphere itself and the beautiful view of the Nile are very pleasant! This is a great place to have beautiful evening by the river.

There are singers at night with a minimum payment, but the place is very beautiful and the food is also great and delicious.

I highly recommend the tagine of prawns! So delicious and matched really well with rice and couscous. Very charming decoration and lovely staff, all very helpful. Live music was great and we loved the atmosphere and location.

Location is superb, the food from salads, soup, main course, to desert is flawless

Very nice restaurant location wise and the quality of food .and also the hospitality... worst thing was the music band .... it was very loud .... not with the atmosphere as it was not a morracain music .... would be much better if they play just andalousian or Ray music and should not be loud so guests can chat easily

Amazing place to have dinner or lunch

The food here is amazing. By far the best restaurant I have been to so far here in Egypt. The hosts here are very accomodating and friendly always making sure your time there is going well. Would recommend to my friends to come here for dinner. the location is amazing too. You can smoke shisha and they serve alcohol from wines to whiskey's. Great view of the Nile. It is in the Sofitel Hotel

Nice place with an Amazing Nile River view. An incredible place where to have dinner... Kitchen is good but nothing exceptional . Cost is absolutely above medium in Cairo area

Morrocan restaurant is amazing. I loved the food and staff are very helpful and friendly. The nile view is one of the best nile views in Cairo. Highly recommended.

The two tagines that we ordered were delicious. And the two appetizers that we had (one was samosas of some sort and the other was more of a dessert type pastry which was also delicious) were wonderful. The staff was kind enough to deal with the fact that we did not know any Arabic, and they found a staff member who could help us order. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous, especially with the wonderful Nile breeze. At night, dinner was wonderful (except for the loud party boats that go back and forth in front of the restaurant).

A great place for dining direct at the Nile. Maroccian an egyptian food at its best by very good and kind service. I was there on Sunday and Thuesday and will do it the next days again.
