Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino

This hotel is absolutely delightful! I had such a great time during my stay and can't wait to return. The architecture is stunning, with plenty of Instagram-worthy spots for photos. If you stay on a higher floor, the view overlooking the city and the Nile River is truly breathtaking.

I must also commend the staff, especially at the Marriott Elite reception and M Club lounge. Their service is top-notch, and their attention to detail made me feel incredibly welcome. They really went the extra mile to ensure my stay was memorable.

Such a grand historic hotel to stay in. We were amazed that our room had so many welcome amenities upon arrival for our honeymoon. The fruit, nuts and cake were delicious. Throughout our stay, the housekeepers placed more and more bottles of water in our room which was such a thoughtful touch. One evening, Khaled came to our room to deliver firm pillows. They weren’t very firm but he offered to make our existing pillows firm. We were touched by him going the extra mile and also by his creativity in combining 2 pillows into 1. The room was also very big.

I had a magnificent stay at Marriott Hotel Omar Khayyam Casino! I was in Cairo for a conference and the hotel is immaculate. The grounds are well manicured. The hotel has soooo many restaurants, and bars, you truly don’t have to leave. Theirs is a beautiful spa, I had an hour massage with “Amy”, I can’t quite remember her name but it started with an A she was incredible. It was a bit cold to take advantage of the pool but the gym is 24/7. There is an outdoor restaurant / bar that they played big sports matches on the outdoor big screen while having hookah and dinner.

Across the street from the hotel on the Nile River is a boat that contains a few restaurants / clubs / etc. it is literally a 4 minute walk so you don’t have a shortage of entertainment.

The staff was extremely helpful and everyone was so kind. Special shout out to Omar Mahmoud at the front desk. He went above and beyond for me and my colleagues. I can’t say enough about his level of service.

I recommend anyone visiting Cairo especially the first time to stay here.

I cannot emphasise enough how perfect this hotel is.

1. Location- located in Zamalek between the chaos of the other two banks, this area is an island of tranquility but also walkable to either bank across the bridges.

2. The compound- massive with a gorgeous historical palace in the middle where breakfast is served, plus a fully equipped gym.

3. Dining- breakfast is excellent and there's fantastic F&B options on site including an English pub

4. Staff- friendly and helpful, went out of their way to check on me

Fantastic, this hotel is a former palace with a state of the art fitness center, many restaurants with delicious food. And many types of shops, atms and banks. There is a casino and spa, I didn't have a chance to use. Cool vibes. I loved my room, but at times, I could smell the faint scent of smoke. My room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet. The only difficulty I had was when I was being picked up from the hotel. There are many entrances, but other than that, I loved it, and I would definitely like to stay there again.

My stay at this remarkable hotel is always wonderful . The impeccable service and attention to detail were evident from the moment I arrived. The culinary experience surpassed all expectations, with high-quality food that was a gastronomic delight at every meal. What truly elevated the experience was the breathtaking view of the Nile River – a serene and picturesque backdrop that added a touch of magic to my stay. This hotel is a haven of luxury, where every aspect, from service to cuisine and the stunning river view, converges to create an unforgettable and indulgent retreat.

There are a lot of outlets, restaurants and near to everything in El Zamalek area.
Food and beverages are great treats and quality.

The hotel is in Zamalik, a classy neighborhood in the center of Cairo. The hotel faces the majestic Nile with all its beauty and history.

The hotel's receptionists went above and beyond to address any needs. In particular, I would like to thank Omar, a for his outstanding customer service. While waiting in the line to check-in, another customer tried to skip the line, Omar politely and professionally contained the situation.
I would like to also thank Nour for his willingness to help.

The hotel is a historic spotless landmark and it is full of life that reflects the spirit of Cairo that we used to see in the black and white movies (that brought nostalgic moments to mind).

To enjoy authentic breakfast try to be there by no later than 9 am.

My wife and I loved this hotel and we will definitely stay there again next time.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Cairo. The peaceful resort is a relaxing place to escape the constantly “on” life of Cairo city. They had 14 restaurants on site - we didn’t try all of them, but the food we did eat was exceptional. The staff were all incredibly friendly, taking time to get to know us. It was our honeymoon, so they upgraded the room and gave us a huge chocolate cake, fresh fruit and selection of pastries. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. And The pool was amazing too.

Marriott Omar Khayyam is top notch with amazing service. Everyone here is friendly in an authentic way. Food is pretty good. Impeccably clean in the rooms (most important to me) and overall great experience. Definitely love this place if I’m going to stay in Cairo 👍👍

Despite the very busy time on Friday, they managed to speed up the check in and still keep a smile and warm hospitality.

The hotel is very elegant and beautiful. Staff is enough to cover the hotel needs. It is exquisite, Authentic and precious. I enjoyed staying in Cairo with my husband and twin babies, almost 3 years old but I was hoping to find a kids club or a similar entertaining facility for them.

Everything was great. I had my bachelor party there and they brought me some beverages and a cake saying “game over” which I thought was very nice and funny. Great service too and accommodation. I forgot my charger and speakers there and came back after a month or so and it was still there. Would definitely recommend it for it’s great service and location.

Visited for Ramadan Iftar. Simply put, the dishes and service was Top Class A+(+) on the location, welcoming atmosphere, and personal greetings from the Chef to the Management.

The staff at the Marriott Cairo is amazing. The central building of the hotel is a 150+ year old palace that is worth wondering around.

This hotel also has one of the best fitness clubs I have ever seen associated with a hotel. I am here for a month and the fitness center has been a life saver.

Finally, if you have Bonvoy status, the lounge does not disappoint. Business travelers can easily do breakfast and dinner in the lounge.

While in downtown, my Egyptian friend took me to Marriott as he was highly appreciative of its design, décor and beautiful atmosphere. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful and luxurious hotels I have seen. The pictures will speak for itself as no further description required :)

Really great hotel with a great vibe. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The check-in process for me was a little rough, but that wasn't their fault (booking agent issue). The food is good and the drinks are strong so I'm sold. There really isn't much in the sense of walking distance, but ubers are affordable, and you can get just about anywhere. There are shops centrally located, and I love that they have a little convenience store on site too, saved me a couple of times. Would definitely stay again.

the room was super nice we asked Nile view but this was bad option because at night you can’t sleep from the car noises .

Fantastic service, beautiful building, nice room. I would highly recommend staying here as it is a nice piece of calm in hectic cairo. Our room Steward was great, always there if we needed something. The guys at the main gate were really helpful in making sure my food delivery drivers made it to me. My room had a view of the pyramids and the Nile, not many places can offer that. The pool was spotless and the workers there always made sure you were comfortable.

Surprisingly pleasant experience. Today, I just went for coffee with a friend and was honestly not expecting the coffee to taste that good. It really did (I'm a CA). And prices are absolutely ok, especially when compared with local coffee shops.

Good location and excellent service! The hotel front desk is friendly and helpful, who allow us to get an early checked in. The room is spacious, and clean. Beautiful hotel courtyard and pool.
