Vivo-the nile Ritz-Carlton

Highly recommend for your special day.

We ordered a salad, pasta and the grilled meat.
I really liked the meat. They cooked perfectly.
Also the white wine they chose was the best in Cairo.
But somehow the temperature was too cold for me, but it’s not big deal.
Also when we asked to move to the bar side, they kindly accepted.

We booked in this really elegant italian restaurant inside the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel. M
We had two appetizer, two main dish and two glass of wine. The food and service were amazing.
Price in line with the level of restaurant. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful dinner
The food was delicious
the waiters are friendly and polite
We ordered a rocca salad and a minestrone soup
And a pizza half margarita half veggie the crust was thin and the pizza was excellent
We also had some salmon with mashed potatoes
Their pasta with tomato sauce and meat was tasty
Lastly the dessert which is tiramisu and lemon sorbet (both are recommended)
Over all ,the portion of each plate was perfect and satisfying
The only complaint I have is that they do not provide plate for sharing

I rarely give 5/5, but with Vivo I could not rate it anything less.

The evening was perfect in every way. The reception at the entrance, the smiles and genuine joy displayed by the workers, the performer who was singing beautiful love songs; it was a wonderful experience.

The food was exquisite to say the least. Down to the smallest details, it was perfect. I ordered the best Braised beef I have ever tasted and my wife ordered the rigatoni cacio e pepe which was cooked perfectly al dente. Simply sublime.

I'm happy to say that my wife and I chose the best restaurant in Cairo for our anniversary.

We stopped in for a late afternoon lite lunch and ordered the pizza.👍🏻 The pizza was excellent and tasted like what a Westerner would expect a pizza to taste like. My wife ordered lemonade, which they didn't have, but they whipped up this refreshing lime concoction. The experience was capped off with some tiramisu for dessert which was a deconstructed version. It was OK, but I think I straight up traditional version of tiramisu would have been more satisfying.

Sure, it's a little pricey and foo-foo, but come on, you're at the Ritz-Carlton in Cairo. You're also taking in a view of the Nile River, the Cairo Tower, and it's a good place for people watching.

Its a MUST place to go!!

Very good restaurant with Italian kitchen. Please note that tax and service are not included in the prices.

The Filetto di Salmone su Crema di Funghi e Tartufo was absolutely next level. You’ll get a pretty good sunset view, attentive service, a Chef that personally checks on how you like the meal, and a lowkey outdoor area to have a Cappuccino after. You can park at the El Tahrir Parking Garage for something like 5-10 LE per hour, come out through the elevator at Gate 2, and stroll to the secondary entrance of the Ritz not facing the Nile.

Ideal for a romantic dinner The restaurant is very "Chic", the view is amazing, food quality is premium and portions are ok, although the prices are a bit on the high end and the service there is veeeeery professional. Thanks to Mohamed Sayed for taking good care of us there. :))

Italian food at it’s best! The Risotto ai Fruitti di Mare was delicious! The Cotoletta alla Milanese is out of this world (it’s huge; make sure you eat nothing this day before this Veal).
The was a delight, but the Semifreddo Siciliano was the bomb! Different exotic flavours makes you end up needing more!
We were served by Mostafa, decent and knowledgable fella. Special greeting also to Chef Mostafa who came to greet us at the table.

Perfect service, we came late but they let us the time to enjoy our food.
Everything is super fresh and tasty and the tiramisu is wonderful.
