BARISTA

I passed many times by this place and everytime i tell myself i want to try coffee there, it is generally very small with an "ok" outside area.
I honestly was surprised from the quality of the flat white i took, it was actually nice and maybe in the top coffees i tried in Maadi! And the barista made a swan latte art which is not easy at all.
Minus one star for having to repeat my order twice because the one that took the order just made his friend take the order from me again! And honestly it was weird.
Other than that if you love coffee this little place will not disappoint!
P.S they have some books that i think you could read when you are there. I was also happy to see a cat sleeping there with no one pushing her away

Update 2 : i passed by again. I think the guy from yesterday was tired because they were very nice today. 5 stars. Best coffee in Maadi!

Super cute spot with the umbrellas and lighting outside! I had gotten the hot apple cider, and the rest of the crew had gotten a mango frappe and a double Turkish Coffee, all of which were delicious. Plus, everyone was super friendly, and it was a great spot to just sit, chat, and people watch!

Love this place. They really know how to make a proper coffee, iced double Americano with cream is what you need on a hot day. It's consistent too, you can depend on it. The folks there are also just friendly. For a fun time try the passion fruit smoothie.

Update: I miss Barista a lot. I used to go there every morning and enjoy their superior quality coffee and the friendliness of the staff as well as other clients. It was like a small family. Unfortunately I left Egypt and I no longer get in touch with any of them.

Honestly it’s the best cup of coffee in the whole entire Egypt … the cappuccino is made in heaven and though it is a very small cafe with very limited seats but the place has vibes and musing energy energy that would inspire you as a designer or artist … back to the coffee … truly it’s the best cup of cesspresso or cappuccino in Egypt … first it was El Greco but now it’s only BARISTA …,;

A delightful if small coffee shop in the heart of old Maadi. They are really professional and know how to make a great coffee. I generally get a flat white and it's always delicious. You won't go wrong stopping here.

I haven't tried this spot but I heard they allow dogs and cats to hang out around there and that gives them a 5 star in my opinion. If your aware of the dog situations in Egypt you would know this is a rarity !

Love this little cafe. A great place to stop whilst shopping on Road 9. Highly recommended. Great service. Please do something about the dogs roaming around the tables though!

Nice small cafe with very good coffee and service. Reasonable prices too. Bathroom is super clean too, always a good sign of good management. 👍☕

Overlooks the busy street and has friendly staff.

A very lovely place with a delicious hot chocolate, the waiter is a nice and cheerful person and he gave us a bracelets as a welcome gift .
The only disadvatnage that it is a small place.
