Aladdin, the head of Magic Carpet in Cairo, arranged a 4-day trip for us, starting from Cairo to Aswan, Luxor, and ending in Hurghada. He organized everything in just one hour in the midnight. He pay attention to every detail, and was very supportive and friendly throughout the process. Meeting him during our Egypt trip was our first luck.

Our tour guide for the 4 days was Hesham, who has deep knowledge of ancient Egyptian history. He is highly professional and his passion for his work is evident in his eyes. Moreover, he is the most polite man we meet in Egypt, making Hesham our second luck.

Finally, our car was very comfortable, and we had the flexibility to make minor changes to our program. Our driver, Ahmed Samara, was always on time and very friendly.

My friends and I did a Cairo tour with Mohamed (Mo) where we visited the pyramids, saqqar, and the Egyptian museum. Let me start by saying WOW. Egypt is beautiful but the cherry on top was being able to learn about the history of the place. This was all thanks to Mo. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions I had and I had A LOT. He was able to show us unique antiques and features that we would not know about without him. Not to mention, he was very friendly and easy to get along with. He definitely made our Cairo trip a lot better than it was! Since my friends and I are all in our mid twenties, it was nice to have a younger tour guide who you can relate to and make jokes with. I learned a lot from Mo and even though it was hot (42C) he kept a very positive attitude the whole time. I usually don’t like doing tours since I always feel rushed but this was at the perfect pace. If you want to have a good time in Cairo and learn from the beautiful history of Egypt then I highly recommend this tour especially with Mo!

I had such a wonderful experience touring Egypt with Magic Carpet Cairo branch. The Manager, Mohamed, was super helpful. I booked my tour last minute but he went out of his way to make my experience seamless. I did a day tour of Alexandria, The Egyptian Museum of Civilisation and Al- Azhar park. The drivers on all occasions were superb. My tour guide, Haggag, was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He chose the best spots and the food was out of this World. Definitely made my Egyptian experience unforgettable.

I traveled with my wife for two weeks in Egypt. During that time we visited Luxor and Cairo as well. Since the point when we contacted Magic Carpet Travel everything went smooth including several transfers and 2-2 day trips in Luxor and Cairo. In Luxor we were guided by Mr Hesham and by Nurin in Cairo. They are really kind and amazing people and we have learned a lot from them about Egypt :). I would definetly recomend the agency and most definetly our guides as well. We will definetley reach them out if we go back!!

This was one of our best organised tours ever so far in q foreign land. We travelled as a group of 7 family and frienda to the pharaoh land of Egypt. It was 13 day trip with Nile Cruise includes. Full credit to Magic Carpet for making the whole trip a lifetime memorable one for the group. It was meticulously planned and executed. Cars provided were best , drivers were professional and always smiling. Guides were knowledgeable and tolerant with all kinds of queries we had. It was fun and exciting all through. I had the opportunity to go with Theresa from Magic Carpet to a trip around the religious sites in Cairo. We visted many of the sites where Jesus was during his escape to Egypt, visited the mosque and the new churches built on the rock by the Orthodox Christians in Cairo. All with very clear explanations that demonstrated a lot of knowledge from Theresa. Would definitely recomend her to anyone visiting Cairo.

We had a tour to Luxor's West Bank, including the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut's memorial temple and the colossus of Memnos.
We have been moving around in an air conditioned car from place to place while we were explained the history of Luxor.
Mohamed, our very professional and friendly guide, gave us very precious tips and explanations on what to see and how to "survive" all the turists traps on our way :). Would have been way harder without. I warmly recommend it ❤

My wife and I did two private extended half-day tours with guide Raina and driver Ahmed Rombu. Car was one of the most comfortable of our trip, and both were very accommodating of my wife’s condition. We did Medinat Habu, Deir al Medina, Nobles Tombs and Howard Carter house on day 1, and saved Hatshepsut and KV for day 2, which worked perfectly and built up to KV well. Raina was very informative, flexible and knew her stuff. Easy to book via email, Shaimaa the agent answered all of my questions, and offered very reasonable pricing for private tours. Would not hesitate to book again in any future trip to Luxor!

In Cairo we had a private tour with Magic Carpet Travel. Our tour guide was Sohaila Fouad. . She was a passionate historian and a good tour guide. A strong independent young women. I would recommend her to you.
She also helped us check in to our quirky hotel and did not leave us until we were ok.

Me and my friend took 1 day Cairo highlights tour and we never had so much fun. Special thanks to our amazing tour guide Sohaila. She was very fluent in English, gave us a lot of information about ancient Egypt, pyramids and religion in Egypt, took us extra to an authentic egyptian perfume shop. She was very kind and answered our questions very well.
And I also thank our driver Momen. He was also kind, played all the way long popular Egyptian songs to introduce us local music taste.

We traveled to Cairo and Luxor and did several tours with them. Extremely professional, available, communicative. My kids loved the tour guide (we had Sohaila in Cairo and Rania in Luxor). Both were knowledgeable and friendly. Went above and beyond.

We booked a pyramid private tour for 2, it was amazing, Theresa our guide was very kind, she gave us a lot of her knowledge, answered to all of our questions and even took great photos, always waiting for us, no rush on the tour, it was great!
I highly recommend this company, they took us on a private AC car, moved us inside the complex, great drive (not so common in cairo LOL).

We have been on two tours in Cairo with Magic Carpet, one was for Giza piramides, Sakkara, and Egyptian museum, and the other one was for Old Cairo. Both tours were wonderful, filled with great emotions snd interesting facts. Excellent tour with Rabi to the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, as well as Hatshepsut’s temple. Rabi is very knowledgeable about all things ancient Egypt (he has a masters degree in it) and was born in Luxor. He explained everything to us very clearly (clearly enough for our 9 year old to understand) and answered all our questions. He even let us quiz him about ancient Egypt on the way home (just to make sure his degree was worthwhile!). He was also very good at tailoring the tour to take into account that we had a child with us (toilet breaks, etc). Overall, I’d highly recommend Rabi. (And Mohamed, our driver, was great too, and ensured our bags were well looked after in the car while we saw the sights).
