Lotus Hotel

Nice hotel, nice staff, flexible check in, recommend highly if you are on budget, good value for money. We visited in May 2019. The breakfast isn't worth.

Great little hotel from 40s/50s. Don't expect emaciate rooms. But it is a great location. Down town Cairo. Near egyptian museum. And sadat and nasser metro stations for easier access to other parts of Cairo's historic places.

I can say a lot of that hotel I enjoyed it immensely a matter of fact from the owner of the hotel do the cleaners they all excellent good service and it is always with a smile it is a lot I can say about the management excellent for such a small hotel

The Lotus Hotel was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Cairo - old world service and ambiance, but fair prices. The location was stellar, just blocks from the main square, Sadat subway station, and the Egyptian Museum. It was a short walk to Islamic Cairo and bazaar as well. The staff was very accommodating in helping us arrange travel details. Their warm smiles made it a pleasure to arrive back at the hotel after a long day in the city. Loved the rooftop bar and restaurant as well. Rooms are clean with a TV and AC. Great Egyptian style breakfast with coffee or tea. Highly recommend!

A decent hotel/accommodation in Cairo. It is located in the heart of the city, very close to the museum.
The rooms are clean for the price they offer. The WIFI doesn't work in some rooms. Try to book a room near the reception for better WIFI.
The fast-food chain like Pizza Hut, KFC are located within walkable distances.
Service is good and also provided complimentary breakfast which included butter bread and jam which was okay.

The price is adequate to the standards. Nice service. The lack of a kettle in the room only prevented me from being fully happy during the trip.

The balcony is one of the best things i have ever seen i have been gone for a while and the moment i came back everything was different special Thanks for the place and for the people working there

A very unique 50's authentic experience.
Excellent services & reception.
Very old in style, but very enjoyable.
Price ranges is very excellent in comparison to other hotels around.
Very recommended!

It's a nice place, the friendly stuff keeping place tidy. But the main reason why you staying in hostel, bed and shower, I kindly asking for more attention from the hostel administration to improve it.

A non expensive 2 star hotel that cover all the basic needs. The position is great.

lotus bar is the best bar in cairo. i went to numerous bars but this one is so different because of labib and hisham. they're the best bartenders in all of cairo. definitely one to recommend.

The roof is very nice and cozy place. It's a hidden gem in Cairo where you can find a good drink and not pay a fortune

Nice bar in Downtown Cairo with a (rather small) rooftop. Friendly staff, friendly crowd, good prices.
