Great experience in the sleeping train. Of course the train is not the newest anymore but the bed is very clean and fresh and the food (Vegetarian) was better then in any airplane. The Staff was also super friendly. Highly recommend for slow travelling in Egypt👍

We had a great experience with this sleeper train. The beds and room were on the small side but still comfortable. The food was good. And staff very friendly and helpfull. The room and train was a bit noisy and cold because the window couldnt shut completely, but we slept trough it. The beds were hygienic, but the room not so much, so if you care about that, you will not find that clean room here. If you like adventure, this is a nice and unique experience. Oh btw, the train station is very bussy and crouded, just go to information point or man with blue shirt, they will tell you where to go and help.
Keep in mind that if you want to sleep together and have different gender, you have to check the box family, else they put you in seperate rooms. They were very friendly to change it on departure tough.

old train but everything suprisingly working there, meals not so bad. Journey Cairo-Aswan and Aswan-Cairo - much better to stay 13 hours in vertical position than sitting in a seat :-)

Took the train from Cairo to Aswan and personally thought it was great! Nice little dinner after departure, comfy beds in the cabin and a friendly chap to get you teas and coffees etc. It was a 13 hour journey that flew by to be honest, I could easily have done a few more hours. I'd happily take it again. A bit expensive though at 80 dollars

Getting the ticket was a little hard but hey it’s egypt. Everything is hard if you didn’t organise a tour. Once you’re here easy enough. Familiarise yourself with the platform. Then be here a few minutes before the train leaves to get on. The ticket office was hard to find. It’s outside the main terminal. There is ernst singage but it’s difficult to see!

This is a review specifically about the customer service. We recently purchased a large number of tickets, but two of them did not come through email like the rest did. When I realized the tickets were missing, I emailed the "support@" customer service line. They responded that same evening, an hour later, confirming they would look up their records and get back to me the next day. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were as good as their word. They resolved the problem that morning and we're all set to go. A shout out to whoever was working the customer service support email line for taking care of the issue promptly and courteously. Thank you!

First of all its my first time to travel from cairo to aswan in a sleeping train
The space of the room was small and thats ok for a sleeptrain
They used the space really well there is a place for everything
The bed is comfortable & the view is awesome
There is also a place for charging your smart phone , hangers for ur clothes , space for your bags away from the ground, a place for a bottle of water beside you & glasses too
It's kinda noisy ofcourse
Because it's not that diffrent from normal egyptian trains
The diffrence is that you are sleeping all way there to your destination
Also staff are really cheerful , helpful & very friendly
For dinner they gave us meat with gravy , potatos & rice
Its OK for train food
I totally recommend it as an experience it wasnt bad at all

야간열차라 저녁 카이로역에서 탔는데 진심 연예인 된 줄 ㅜ 다같이 우글바글 다같이 모여있어도 위험한건지 경찰관이 주변에 서줬읍니다
뭐 사려고 무리를 잠시 이탈하는 순간 살면서 첨 느껴보는 공포를 느낌

패키지 여행 시 이용했기에 정확한 금액과 컨디션인지는 모르겠으나 싱글차지 내고 혼자 한 방을 썼기에 짱편하게 이동했어요!
객실 내부에는 나름 세면대가 있지만 물이 졸졸 짱구리게 나와서 혹시몰라서 한국에서 챙겨간 삼다수 큰걸로 양치와 세수를 해결했어요 생수 필⭐수
확장한 28인치 캐리어 하나 놓으니 남은 자리 반이 찼고요.. 여기서 두명 어떻게 편하게 지내지...
로밍해서 갔는데 인터넷 짱느리고요 데이터 터지는 곳 찾아 삼만리🤜
아무튼 식사도 알차게 주고,,, 라면 먹으려고 뜨신물 요청하니 잘 갖다주셨읍니다 승무원 선생님 최강 친절보스
근데... 화장실 조심하세요 슬리핑열차 외국인만 탄다하서 안심했는데 ^^.. 화장실 폭탄으로 사용하더라구요 호호호... 아스완 가까워질수록 더 역해지니까 해뜨면 걍 참으시길... 바로 전 여행이 몽골이라 그런가 화장실빼곤 모든게 완벽했던 기억이....
