Zamalek holds a special place in my heart, and this spot is a favorite. The decor is authentically artistic, creating a cozy and comforting atmosphere. I frequent it for lunch and casual meetings, always opting for their highly recommended Alfredo pasta, grilled chicken plate $ Greek Salad. A must-visit in Zamalek!

Calm, quiet environment, dimly lit with a lot of wood trimmings and plenty of art. Nat King Cole and Sinatra playing at a perfect volume in the background as to not be distracting. Antique is the perfect name.
The food is great too. The 4 of us ordered:
Foul, omelet, calamari, mixed cheese platter, falafel, tea, Turkish coffee and a cappuccino. Finished it off with pancakes and honey. They're served in great portions, but taste more like a cake than a pancake, unexpected but still delicious.

Very good, love the waiter, love the food, love the atmosphere, cozy and comfy, and good desserts and drinks.

Wow! This is all I can say, finally a place I would easily give it 5/5! The decoration of this place is exceptional, authentic, nostalgic and luxurious as if you go to a royal palace or a museum with a classic music in the background. And personally it reminds me of my grandma's home! ♥ Even the smell of it.. It smells like a cooked tomato sauce 😂 (which is obvious) we ordered Fettuccine with Chicken and Basil and Cannelloni, and this is so far the best pasta restaurant I've ever been to! The cannelloni was sooo good! So creamy with exceptional mix of spices and a hint of cinnamon in the meat (I believe it was cinnamon), the tomato sauce was perfect and rich! The pasta itself was perfectly cooked, they also use a good quality of mozzarella cheese it was perfectly melted in there, and this was my first time trying the basil fettuccini and let me tell you it wasn't that bad at all! It was so creamy! With a good quantity of chicken inside the sauce, again the pasta was perfectly cooked the cream-basil mix was so good I was satisfied with the portions also. My only concern is the hygiene level the tables itself wasn't that clean, there were cigarettes pieces all over the table and I believe they must invest in new air conditioners. The stuff were somehow friendly. The prices were very good compared to any other pasta places, I paid 216 for both dishes. 5/5 👏🏻

It's really aptly named and it deserves its name as everything there are antiquated, I liked the atmosphere and food so much, I liked even the decorations at the bathroom 😂❤
The prices is there are very reasonable and affordable ( my friend and I ordered grilled chicken mushroom and chicken a la antique and we really loved both of them.. their mushroom sauce is incredible ❤)

Loved the place so much. Artificial decoration with a nice music in background. The food is so delicious and have good Italian cousine. Make sure to have enough cash and there is no payment in credit. Its also hard to find car parking around.

It is so quiet there and staff are professional and friendly, the music they play is always chill and kind of classy, old songs like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, French songs...etc. tge place there is also located in a very nice neighborhood that's always good for walks and has great restaurants and places to chill. Menu there is very diverse, has a lot of options, I tried grilled Halloumi on white toast once and was great (it wasn't really an option on the menu but I asked the waiter if they can do it and they did), thai noodle soup was also very nice, I also tried once their chicken caesar salad and chicken mushroom soup and they both tasted very good, what I like the most about their menu is the portion sizes, so the options are not very expensive considering the setting, yet, value is definitely their game winner as you get what you paid for, overall it is a must try either on a date or with friends.

Feel the true nostalgia in Cairo’s best restaurants in Zamalek area. The food is great especially the soup and the staff were terrific great atmosphere to live the vibes of old Cairo. I also recommend the caprese salad

Very cozy spot, lovely retro style and music, I came here to order a pizza from Don Corleone (separate menu) and was not disappointed. The pizza (Napoletano) was its own unique take on the classic, much richer than the simple usually cheese-less Napoletano you'd get in Naples, but delicious in its own way. If you're not into salty, get something else...

Lovely coffee shop in an excellent location with lots to do around it. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a variety of vintage gems to glance at throughout the place.

Authentic place with really delicious food. The only serious drawback is that smoking is allowed. Yet, one of tge best Zamalek places.

What an amazing meal for tourist. The chicken thai was seriously delicious, it's a savory dish with rice noodles, veggies, and chicken. The Grilled Chicken was well marinated and grilled chicken that was flavorful and had/needed no sauce. Came with white rice (couple peanuts) and veggies. We also had hot tea and coke a cola. All for 221 EGP (12.4 USD). Great antique decor too. We tipped 9 EGP (all we had) and $1 usd.

Waiter spoke great english and menu was also in english.

It's a bit hard to see from the street, it's next to "Four fat ladies" pictures of the door from the street is below then stairs up then their door on the left are all below. One couple could have split a meal, they are big. But we finished 2 meals because they were so good.

The perfect place for dates and self spent time. The food there is fresh and cooked with love. The atmosphere is chill and cozy. ❤

Best atmosphere, very respectful and nice people, it's my favorite place to hangout now, also mushroom soup is a MUST try, if actual heaven had a taste, that would be it.

The place is nice and cosy, food quality is okay and staff are very friendly
