Cafe del Museo

We went here twice, but we will definitely go back again. The food was delicious, the coffee and jugó were good. Fried chicken was a little bit salty, I think. The staffs are friendly. All in all, nice food, nice people, nice atmosphere.

Everything was perfect here. The view, the music, the service, the food and the drinks.

The service is the best we’ve had after a month in Cuenca and eating out daily. Love the happy hour options and the peaceful setting next to the river. Try the fish tacos!

Incredible chocolate brownie with butterscotch ice cream. Atmosphere relaxing and fun. The English language was being spoken at most tables. Cappuccino top quality too. Not inexpensive, priced just right for vibe. The light and view so perfect.

Delicious!!! One of the best meals we had in Cuenca! Really, we were so super ourselves!! We went for lunch... the braised pork was EXCELLENT!! Recommended!

The cappuccino with almond milk was awesome. I ordered a vegetarian salad, which was super big (unfortunately the taste of the dressing was not for me but they were very kind and willing to change it for me). Good service, gracias.

This is a beautiful local restaurant. Would gladly visit again. Wonderful outdoor dining with a fully covered patio, exceptional service, and delicious dishes.

We arrived in Cuenca and on our 1st Sunday morning went for a walk through Parc de la Madre, over the Tomebamba river and along its bank till we saw this restaurant up on the "hillside". Willy was at the entrance and invited us in (spoke english very well). So we went up the beautiful ascending path where we met Tito, who greeted us and has waitered us every Sunday morning for the last 3 months. In that time we met Jamie, Jorge, Patricio, and felt like we were "family" whenever we arrived. We cannot say enough about their friendly attentive manner and the food was excellent, timely, and was always hot. This is a "must" visit restaurant if you are in Cuenca....we will miss our weekly breakfast! All the best Museo crew.

Great ambiance and amazing drinks, the service here is amazing the staff is wonderful and so kind especially our server Tito, and the restaurant itself is beautiful we really enjoyed our dinner and we will definitely come back soon. That’s our new spot in Cuenca ❤

Food was excellent, Cobb salad was outstanding, Philly cheesesteak sandwich was also excellent. Great place to enjoy the beautiful city of Cuenca. Our server John was excellent, very friendly, on top of all our needs. Out of a score of 10 I give John a 11. Definitely will be going back.

Beautiful setting overlooking the Tomebamba river. I've eaten here twice, so far, and each time I've been surprised by the quality of the food. And it's not too terribly pricey for a museum restaurant in a tourist zone.

We have been here for dinner and brunch. Loved both experiences! Excellent food.. excellent views and amazing service. Our waiter Diego was the very best. He was very attentive and nice. Wish all the waiters were as great as he was. Definitely a favorite spot of ours

Never disappointing, our favorite restaurant for brunch. Best Bloody Marys in town. You wont be disapointed with lunch or dinners either. Giovanna always makes sure your dining experience is perfect. Beautiful outside setting overlooking the river.
