Raymipampa Restaurant

Right in the city center, this is a fantastic restaurant. The price was good compared to some other bars in the city. Food was really good and had some good vibes. Only thing I was not sure was why they served in foam plates.

The restaurante is Nice. WiFi works. The food was very good, no amazing, but I think for the 10 USD was good deal for the location, even though is "expensive" for Ecuador is the price for such touristic city and next to the cathedral. I asked for Lomo de res 🐄 with champignons 🍄

The location for this restaurant is great, right next to cathedral with great view of the central square. Foods are yummy but a bit salty. The garlic bread is delicious! I also love the banana with chocolate sauce crepe as dessert. The food gets ready quickly with no long wait, which is a plus so we can have more time to explore the old town.

Quaint beautiful well appointed restaurant. Our server was really good. Spoke Spanish, I do "picito". Yet it was easy to ask for what we wanted and the food was excellent. It was a fish & shrimp mixture dish. Yummy.
The Hot Chocolate hot the spot very nicely.

I having arrived after opening, I was greeted by smiling faces and an upbeat casual ambience. My waiter spoke a little English so for those who are struggling with Spanish you will have no issue here. I ordered one of their breakfast dishes and requested an additional item which they had no issue accommodating my request. Very reasonable prices and delicious food.

The restaurant is just by the Cathedral, so the position is amazing. Large selection of food. Very good artesanal beer and great, fast and attentive service! I had the luck to meet the owners and their sons, lovely people!!! I hope I can give back what I received if they will travel to Italy!

I eaten 20 times, why … because of its convenience,consistency, friendly service. I love that everyone there calls me by my name. The food has Ecuadorian tradition so there is something that everyone can enjoy. Look they have been there for ever. Now is the amazing no but for what they do it’s good! Lunch is a good deal too. Good WiFi prices fair. Give it a try.

Traditional food at reasonable prices. Restaurant is located right next to the cathedral. Very tasty and fresh food. Menu is both in English and Spanish which makes things easier when ordering. We got the beef tenderloin with mushroom cream sauce… very good.

Great restaurant, great ambiance, great food. The Restaurant building is at leat 300 yrs old. All the food was very tasty. Today we order the barbeque ribs, and a glass of wine. The prices were very reasonable.
Yesterday we ordered the rice shrimp, and a traditional food platter.

Had Locro de Papas at this restaurant based on a recommendation. It was excellent and reasonably priced. There are 2 levels to the restaurant - I sat on the top level. The staff were kind, fast and efficient. There was an extensive menu and I would return here for sure to try other items.

Amazingly located, the restaurant itself has a nice deco with super funky ceiling light!
The food is great, with vegetarian option. The portions are very very generous. The mote and jugo de tomato de arbol are very typical from cuenca and taste great!
And the cherry on the cake, it is super affordable

I had dinner with my friends in this restaurant and it was all great. Service was fast and the food was good.

I had pork chops in pineapple sauce, jugo tomato de arbol and cheese cake. It was lovely 👌🏽❤

Best meal we've had in ecuador for $10 with good ambience. Expect it to be busy, but they handle it well. I had the shrimp with special sauce which came with rice and potatoes which was very enjoyable and my partner had crispy shrimp with rice and potatoes and we both had a great night. Thank you very much. We were recommended by someone in our tour group who was also recommended by two others. I'm passing it on :)

I always stop for at least one meal when I’m in Cuenca...excellent food, diverse and vegetarian menu offering, great view and great service.

5 stars based on location, service, and quality of food for Tourists. Next to cathedral. Lovely ambience. Great pictures on the wall of Cuenca from the past. Portion and taste was adequate for location.
Price example: $9 for a vegetarian rice dish (actually ordered rice with shrimp but it was delicious just the same).

I’ve had breakfast here as well and it was delicious! The jam is extraordinary.

Great place to stop once or twice. Too pricey for everyday meals.
