Great little restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Felt like a little pub in Belgium. The food was great. Try the breakfast menu. Many Belgium beer choices. Had a Lambic beer, its now my favourite beer.

The place is located on San Sebastian square, lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Great artesanal beer and the best french fries I have ever had (after Gent in Belgium)

Great tasting authentic Belgian style beers. My Belgian girlfriend and I had te sour and the triple along with some bitterballen and she felt like she was back in Belgium. The prices are steep for Ecuador, but it’s understandable for the quality that you receive. We will be coming back here again soon, during our 10 days in Cuenca. It blows some of the other beer bars out of the water.

Edit: went here a second to time and it re-confirmed how well prepared the food and beers are. Coming here is truly a treat which my Belgian girlfriend and I immensely enjoy.

This restaurant/bar has one of the best varieties of European beers in Cuenca. The selection of European-style food is also quite extensive. Each plate looked great and tasted even better. The outdoor seating was fantastic, despite experiencing rain, due to the large umbrellas and great location. The only downside for the food/drinks here is the price, which was above average for Cuenca.

Our favourite place to relax in Cuenca. The location is top-notch. Jodoco is beside a well-designed, scenic, and tranquilo park. You can sit inside or outside on the patio (which has a heater on at night). The beer is first rate, it's worth trying all of their signature beers, which are expertly brewed in small batches in Cuenca. My wife and I agreed that the appetizers were creative and delicious. We look forward to returning to this unique city & sitting at our favourite table at the most relaxed/scenic plaza in the historic district - Jodoco is a must-see for anyone that loves quality beer (or coffee) and fine food.

In a city with few nice beer bar options, a choice of a few delicious frothy monastic Belgian beers was a breath of fresh air for beer nerds like us. The place is very small and gets overwhelmed a little easy, don't be surprised if it slows down when more folks show up. But it's probably the best beer spot in town.

Cozy and fun atmosphere - indoor & outdoor seating - friendly service - great Belgian beer - great but small wine list - stuffed mushrooms and chocolate cake were great - went twice on 3 night trip - highly recommend and would go again.

Only stopped for a beer, so i cannot comment on the food except to say that the desserts that I saw passing by my table looked so fabulous, I was tempted to order one despite not being hungry.
Service was excellent and the waiter was prompt, efficient and friendly and spoke excellent English but tolerated my broken Spanish with grace. There are tables both inside and out, but part of the charm is people watching on the square from their patio.
But you come here for the beer! And what an amazing selection of excellent Belgiab beers of all types; four whole pages worth!! All manner of different styles to suit any palette. Prices for many options are in the $6-8 for a 330ml bottle, which is fair.

The decoration of this place is old school European; the location of this bar is in downtown Cuenca.
Jodocos has a great beer selection from fresh brewed beers, imported beers from Belgium, if you are a
beer lover this is the place for you.
We enjoyed this date with my siblings, so we ordered a few appetizers to share tablas de carnes y
salchichas (roastbeef, sausage, and bread sampler), champinones rellenos (stuffed mushrooms) this
plate was amazing, papas rusticas ( skin on fried potatoes), and beef carpaccio, I have to be honest, this
plate was peculiar, the beef was frozen, in every bite you can feel the mix of ice and meat, the cut it was
thick, traditional carpaccio cut is very thin, even I tried to eat it with olive oil and aceto but it didn't
enhance the taste at all, I love beef carpaccio but this one it wasn't a carpaccio.

You want to chill out an evening, drinking good beers: this is the place to be.

Little outdoors terasse to taste all kind of beers localy brewed by a Belgian (the specialist country) or aswell imported...

Ask for recomendation to find the beer fiting you best, and drink it with some apetiezers or full meals with real belgian specialities (Bitterbalen, meatballs in beer sauce, stoofvlees...

I love this place because of the people who work there and the owners who run it! Of course the food and drinks are excellent as well! It's one of cuenca's little known best restaurants so if you haven't been there yet you really need to go!

One of the greatest place to have a beer in one of the most beautiful plazas in Cuenca. A must if you visit the city

Truly amazing artisanal beer crafted by a committed Belgium brewmaster. Best beer in town. Gets busy, so visit at off peak time if possible. Cheers! 🍻

Jodoco was one of the first of its kind in Cuenca, and has steadily gained in popularity. Get there early to get a seat outside to enjoy the atmosphere of Parque San Sebastián. They have a selection of beers on tap and in bottles. It's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon or a rainy evening. The tables are covered, and they have patio heaters available.

The best beer in Cuenca and likely in Ecuador. Brilliant Belgian Trappist style beer on tap. Expensive and worth every centavo. Absolutely wonderful after five weeks of 'Pilsener'. Lots of hoppy bottled IPAs and the like 'for the cool kids' (not me!) Carefully prepared and tasty bistro food. I had a great sandwich with some of the best chips (fries) I've ever tasted. This place really is world class and could have been physically transported here straight from Bruges or Ghent. Sit inside for a real convivial pub atmosphere like Belgium (or Ireland/UK)
