Playa Escondida

Playa Escondida is very secluded beach. You can visit it from the nearby apartment complex or via small dirt road. Once there it feels like it’s your private beach because no one is there. It’s a little paradise in the paradise 😊

The walk there can be a bit tricky. We came from Las Ternas side, and had to ask twice for the “secret” path to Escondida. However no people were on the beach.

The answer’s in the name – Hidden Beach!! You have to fight for it, though! There’s a tightly packed, mountainous patch of jungle at the edge of Playa Bonita that you have to find and hike through -- but once you find your way through the mud, hills and bugs, you’re in paradise! We did not encounter a soul. Virgin beach. Just know that there are rough rocks as you wade into the waters that cannot be seen – My boyfriend hurt himself, so please be careful! Otherwise very worth the adventure. The highlight of our day!

This is an amazing private beach. Almost no one goes here. There are rocks in the Water except for a few places. Be careful and enjoy!

This hidden spot is Soo good! The waves disappear because the natural landscape blocks the wind! Very nice to spend quite time in the Beach.

Hard to get to carrying fishing gear but worth the walk!!!!! Loved it!

Picturesque wild beach accessible by a somewhat hidden path. At some point the path appears to be blocked by a pile of tree trunks, but they are actually secured and can serve as stairs (if you're fit enough). There are some rocks on the seafloor.

There is a little trail that gets you there walking from Playa Bonita. There is usually nobody there. Love it.

I was here with my wife. It’s a Pool like beach. Hardly any waves. A bit more Private. Walk through some water to get to it or by a small trail. The water is up to your knees in the morning but in afternoon the water recedes and you’re able to walk on three sand that used to be filled with water. Unreal!!

Very nice. There is almost no one there, and it should stay that way. Arriving to the beach is very complicated, and once you get to the beach there are many rocks in the water, but there are almost no tourists and no music. Let's keep it that way.
