This place was fantastic.

Pros)The staff were pleasant and super friendly, especially (Jerminia she was very lovely) My room was super clean, spacious and super comfortable. Pools were cleaned and well maintained, the rooftop bar has a pool and the veiw of the surrounding mountains are insane. I really appreciated the silence and the relaxed vibe there.

Cons)The beaches were not 5 minutes or even 20 minute walk away. The restaurant has a very limited menu. Had to take a cold shower a few times due to the hot water not working. DOES NOT HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM ON SITE.

Over all, This is a great place to stay at and I recommend it to family and friends.

Super quiet and quaint boutique hotel. 26 rooms very well appointed. Rooms are very comfortable, has a roof top bar, lounge and pool area.

The service was wonderful and kind, the rooms were beautiful- but with a motion censored A/C, it was difficult to sleep well and the food was cooked to order, so took a bit longer, but was reasonable.

👉🏽Delicious breakfast (included), everything was on point. No complains.
👉🏽Room decor is beautiful😍, staff even gave us supplier info.
👉🏽Really good attention from staff.
👉🏽They offer free Yoga class on saturdays 10am.
👉🏽No walking distance to the beach, but really close by car.
👉🏽Ask for early check-in.

It was a very nice place. From the begining, the staff was friendly and helpful. The suite was very spacious and clean and had AC and TV in the room and in the living room. It would have been nice if they had dome more facilities in the kitchen like small plates, glasses and some cutlery. They only had a coffee machine with 2 cups. But they will provide you with anything when you ask.

Amazing breakfast was included at this super clean hotel. Staff are polite and gracious. Over the top attention to detail. The soap in the rooms is a find. AC, TV, internet - all perfect. The staff even handed us cold bottled water after our check out wishing us safe travels!

We had a brilliant time at the hotel - the staff was super friendly, the rooms modern and spacious and the food from breakfast to dinner excellent quality. The location is perfect, within 15-20min one can reach a variety of beautiful, pristine beaches. Overall highly recommend Las Terrenas and this hotel.

I always read the negative reviews first and I did not experience any of these things and I have worked in the hotel/service industry most of my life.The staff are wonderfully pleasant and attentive. The rooms are gorgeous and ecologically conscious.
This is not comparable to the mega hotels as the experience is meant to be personal and unique. It is far enough from the beach to be away from the night noise but close enough you can be there in mere minutes.
I have traveled widely staying at Chateaux Relais and worked in Michelin chef kitchens, Saman Boutique Hotel embodies many of these qualities. I will return for sure!

Perfect hotel, in perfect location not too far from Punta Poppy beach which is gorgeous! Really nice staff and the rooms are huge and really clean. Thoroughly impressed, cant fault it. Would gladly come back

The best place to stay in Las Terrenas. peaceful, clean and near to the best beaches!!!!

The Saman Boutique Hotel is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, and spotlessly clean. The staff are amazing - so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant is top quality and reasonably priced - the included breakfast is wonderful too. My wife and I stayed here for 9 nights and absolutely loved it. Really wonderful hotel. Tip for the area is to have a car and visit the beach clubs on the various beaches - they are a great place to hang out, sunbathe and have a drink/lunch etc.

The Saman Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotels we stayed in the DR.

The service is outstanding. Always there for the guests.

The rooms we stayed in were excellent: spacious, comfortable, clean, and in excellent condition.

The breakfast is good with a variety of options.

Everything about this place was great ! Very close to beaches, the hotel staff were amazing . The room was minimalistic yet beautiful and clean. My only two negatives were the hot water for showers was spotty although I actually find that normal in more remote /eco hotels so I wasn't really bothered by it . Also heads up, literally... there are some really beautiful pieces of trees used as art work outside of the 200 level rooms. It looks beutiful just poor placement, one evening I walked out of my room and walked straight into (ended up with a concussion lol ). This hotel is beautiful to rejuvenate and reconnect with nature . We came with our children and they loved the pools , the dominican breakfast, and the beds were comfy. Playa poppy is about 10min nearby and other beaches are also very close as well as eateries . After leaving las terrenas we took the kids to a resort for 3 days :( and wanted to leave the resort and come back here !!!

This hotel is wonderful, from its team to the facilities, everything is a rewarding experience. I loved their details, the cleanliness of each space, the security they offer. the food is extremely good, and breakfast a show of flavors.

MOST WELCOME HOTEL IN DR. Hotel made with good vibes only, for example, at the entrance we were received with a welcoming cocktail and luggage pick-up - which is the first time it has happened to us in a week in DR. Food is a fusion of Catalan-Dominican dishes and very delicious. The staff at the restaurant, reception and bar were all very friendly and professional all the time - even the laundry lady managed to gave us some spare time to clean our clothes. The views from the rooftop of the town are amazing. Would highly recommend.

From the moment you walk in the service is so amazing they make you feel like you are the queen of England 😂. The staff is amazing and professional. The rooms are so clean which is super important to me because I would leave if a hotel is not clean to my standards. The decor is so stunning it makes you want to take a picture at every corner but the number one thing I will definitely come back for is the food, their chef is amazing!!!! We decided to drive 2hr to playa rincon and cayo frio and the drive was so enjoyable I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the lush grounds, gorgeous furniture and delicious food. The Hotel surrounds a majestic Saman Tree that shades the pool and patio. Attention to the smallest details does not go unnoticed! A truly special Hotel that I recommend highly.

Totally recommend it! Loved the room, cleanliness, food, staff, ambience, communication, decoration, & location! Breakfast included a la carte was AMAZING. The staff was great. Attention to detail and very courteous. Thank you all! :)

Definitely one of the nicest places to stay in Las Terrenas/Samana altogether.

The hotel is brand new, the rooms are very nicely decorated, spacious and bright. The bed is very large and comfortable.

The best was the restaurant, which is really well designed and has great food. The breakfast is delicious, you get a fruit platter, pastries and then a choice if first and second meal. Service is very good.

We especially appreciated the extensive Covid safety measures taken by the hotel (mask wearing by guests and personnel, disinfectant, social distancing, limited contact at check in etc). We felt very safe the entire time.

The check in was great, a welcome drink and hand towel are provided. You must pay a deposit of 10,000 pesos in advance for consumption, but you get it refunded at check out any problem.

The hotel is perfect for couples. There were no customers their own music, which provides a quiet and peaceful, more upscale environment.

The hotel is located just a 5 minute drive from the beach and from the restaurants/centre of Las Terrenas. You can park your car in the guarded parking in front of the hotel.

The only improvement to be made is the cleaning of the rooms. Our room was ready, but the floor had not been cleaned upon arrival. However, the cleaning staff cleaned it quickly after we let them know. Other housekeeping details can be improved (eg making sure all the hotel toiletries are available, as we didn’t have soap in our room when we arrived; or providing slippers, etc). Small details that can make a difference and provide more of a luxury touch.

Overall great hotel, we absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Las Terrenas or the Samana Peninsula!

Attention to detail as soon as I walked in, staff is amazing, rooms are gorgeous, creative and unique... Very accommodating... Quiet and private location with nicely lit pools... (rooftop as well)... On site restaurant has amazing food and top notch presentation... Must try.. Highly recommended. 👍
