I spoke to many agents before arriving in Las Terrenas, as part of preparing for my real estate search. There are so many agents, many with very little experience in the housing industry, or knowledge of real estate transactions. Rodrigo was unique. He not only has a background in design and construction, but he quickly gets what clients are looking for. Atlantique Sud has beautiful offices by the beach just steps away from the boat buildings. I believe that it is the largest agency in town with the most properties inventory ( there is not an MLS system like in the US). Yenifer was my agent - she was very professional and organized from the way she presented the properties of possible interest to the actual showings. You can tell that she loves what she does … And she is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

We were at Las Terrenas over Christmas and loved the town. On our last day before leaving , Jan 1, we wanted to see some properties. Out of the 3 agencies we contacted Marvin was the first one to reply to us. He immediately arranged for us to see some properties that we were interested in, came to our resort to pick us up, and spent the entire day with us. I purchased a house in Las Terrenas with Atlantique Sud in October 2020, and they were very helpful and made the house buying process very smooth. The team speaks fluent French, English and Spanish and are very willing to help out in extra ways that made everything that much easier. They were very accommodating, finding us a place to stay before the closing, and helped set up bills, etc after closing.
