Parada principal de guaguas Transporte Las Terrenas

I had no problem actually , however I was concerned with the bus maintenance. Also the guy collecting the money gave me the gringo price which is understandable. It was okay with me to pay an extra $2 US to get from Las Terrenas to Santo Domingo. People on the bus were also nice.

I never personally took the bus myself but I take my girlfriend to the bus a lot and we never had any problems. All I could say is if the bus always goes on time so if you’re late you missed the bus. They recently moved the location across the street. I will suggest an edit on the Google Maps. They do have a phone number maybe it goes to WhatsApp sometimes you might want to double check with them on the schedules.

The bus terminal (to Santo Domingo, etc) location is now marked in Google Maps as 'Terminal Asotrapusa' and is across the intersection from the marked location here. The terminal picture with the aqua wall is from the new location marked 'Terminal Asotrapusa'.

Transporte público para ir a Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata y Nagua. Solo el transporte a Santo Domingo tiene buses grandes, El de Santiago tiene transporte mediano. Solo para información de las personas, las rutas a Nagua y Puerto Plata son más pequeños.

Atención que las guaguas ya no salen de la parada de la Bodega, hay que tomarlas aquí. Ve con tiempo o reserva plaza al telefono para no quedarte sin plaza.

Puede mejorar bastante. El servicio deja mucho que desear. No salen a tiempo.

The price is low for what you get. However, very unreliable timewise and never know if the bus will have space. Extremely disorganized and the religious music has to go.

Nightmare. But this is the way in the DR if you want to travel. Would not recommend it. But sadly some people do not have choices.

NO UTILIZEN ESTE SERVICIO. Compre mi ticket para las 3:30 pm. A las 10 AM al ver que el solo vendia tickets en una libreta le pregunté Cómo llevas el control? Me contestó "yo lo anoto, llega a las 3:15 te giardaran el asiento". Al llegar puntualmente veo que el autobús está lleno y pregunto ya que el muchacho que me lo vendio no estaba el que estaba me contestó que el muchacho le había dicho que llegaría a las 3:00 el chofer sólo se reía ya que se notaba que simplemente se le había olvidado guardarme el asiento que ya había pagado y para el cual llegue 15 minutos antes según lo acordado. Era un desastre habían personas sentadas en el piso y el pretendía que yo me fuera parada hasta Santo Domingo un viaje de mínimo dos horas y media. Es bastante obvio que por sindicato no dejan que otros servicios de autobuses lleguen a las terrenas y se aprovechan por ser los únicos. Además de que cobran igualmente que una metro o una caribe tours que tiene muchos mejores autobuses y una parada bien estructurada en un sector seguro. Gracias a Dios una persona me llevo hasta sanchez donde pude tomar otro autobus. Pero no tomen este servicio las guguas no se ven seguras, no tienen una parada bien estructurada, el servicio es pésimo y no esta para nada organizado habían personas sentadas en la escaleras de la entrada por Dios. En fin si quieren llegar bien a Santo Domingo esta no es la vía.

Deja mucho que desear y al ser un expreso todavía no entiendo todas esas pradas que se hacen para recoger pasajeros y hacer que el cliente pierda tanto tiempo. Además de que muchos de los chóferes son unos irresponsables y los autobuses tienen muchos problemas mecánicos.
