Have yet to come to the storefront specifically, but have ordered wine for delivery. The communication is great and delivery is speedy! Also, they have some very very good Hungarian wines on offer. The owner is very friendly and if you describe your taste preference, they will make some very nice recommendations.

I was unexpectedly (and fortunately) introduced to both Borstore and Hungarian wines from a dear friend of mine in the USA who wished to send me something nice for my birthday.

At our doorstep arrived three of the most luscious wines I've ever tasted: The Pannonhalma Infusio 2018, Szepsy Furmint 2017 and the Kreinbacher Rosé Brut.

Legend has it that the Infusio comes from a monastery that's been producing wine since 990, and, true to its dear history, it is a truly sublime red wine. Giant notes of raspberry mountains professing an ancient terroir, impeccable undulating purple hues and a deep finish of cow s**t make this a wine for commemoration, to celebrate life to. A 30 euro bottle who's inner virtue has no pricetag. Can't recommend enough, just save me a bottle!

The Furmint is also a pure pleasure, with big velvety tones of muscat, freshly peeled grapefruit and and a barely perceptible carbonation. Would also recommend heavily, but Fanni (who works at the retail store) recommended another Furmint, the Degenfeld 2019 which my partner and I quickly crowned the tastiest white wine we've ever experienced. Everlasting eruptions of springtime and Ramune soda with huge pastel cloudcovers of buttery, warm freshness. Also slightly (pleasurably) carbonated. Also please save me a bottle if you intend to buy all of it after this recommendation.

Last but in no way least, the Kreinbacher is a revelation in lavendery pink, an indulgence I wasn't aware the world could produce so finely. The producers cared so much about this wine that they matched the cork wrapping to complement perfectly the slight purplish, pale pink of this rosé which (when served as cold as possible) is an experience like none other. Simply transcendent.

So yeah. Go here if you want wine "as good as it gets" in the world. Trust me. I've drank a few in my lifetime.

Ich bin seit längerer Zeit wiederkehrende Kundin des Weinladens Borstore. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und ich bekomme immer gute Empfehlungen und Informationen zum Weinsortiment. Der Auswahl ist groß und für jeden Anlass findet man passende Weinsorten. Man findet im Borstore auch ungarische Delikatessen, die ich schon öfter als Geschenk für Freunde gekauft habe und immer damit einen Erfolg hatte.

Da meine Frau aus Ungarn kommt sind wir sehr froh endlich eine Weinhandlung gefunden zu haben die ausschließlich Ungarische Weine anbietet. Wir haben uns für zwei Weinpakete entschieden einmal die sonnigen Weißweine und einmal die frischen Frühligsweine dazu noch eine Flasche Hummel PetNat Rosé Karasica 2021 Bio. Natürlich haben wir es noch nicht geschafft alle Weine auszuprobieren aber wir sind jetzt schon von denjenigen die wir probiert haben sehr begeistert. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und die kostenlose Lieferung ab 80 Euro sind unserer Meinung nach vollkommen gerechtfertigt und wir sind sehr zufrieden. Wir bestellen sicherlich bald wieder.

Ich kann den BorStore nur wärmstens empfehlen, die Auswahl an ungarischen Weinen ist sehr gut und der Inhaber ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Immer gerne wieder :)

Endlich eine gute Quelle für richtig gute Weine aus Ungarn. Als Student habe ich 5 Jahre in Budapest gelebt und die enorme Vielfalt ungarischen Weins kennen und lieben gelernt. Schmerzlich der Schrott, den man üblicherweise in Deutschland so aus Ungarn zu kaufen bekommen kann.
Und hier gibt es all meine Lieblinge. Die Furminte vom Somlo Vulkan, trockene super Tokajer, Lindenblättriger, Juhfark... Ein ganzes Universum tut sich auf. Nach inzwischen 2 großen Lieferungen nach Hause habe ich heute schon wieder bestellt und freue mich schon auf tolle Geschmackserlebnisse. Weiter so fiuk!

Kleine aber feine Auswahl ungarischer Weine und Feinkost. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Beratung.

Großartiger Laden, der uns für unsere Hochzeit exzellenten Wein auf Kommission organisiert hat und bei Anlieferung, Abholung und Bezahlung absolut kompromisslos kundenfreundlich und unkompliziert war. Dafür müsste es eigentlich sechs Sterne geben!
