The best “German” food of 5 days, without a doubt, however when compared to other cuisine, it still doesn’t match up. The staff and the atmosphere have bumped it up to a 5* for me. The music and the camaraderie was really cool, and the beer was nice too. My meal had a range of sausages, but the sauerkraut was the staple with bacon included within. The desert was nice too with “egg cream”.

Mainly atmosphere is perfect and energetic. We entered without reservation, and with small waiting line, welcoming is nice very helpful. Menu choices and dinner also satisfied our dinner. Serving is fast and traditional outfits makes much better to joy your night.👌

It really feels like being Germany here. The live music is fantastic! Love the performance. Really cheerful kind. Crispy pork knuckle is massive, but absolute pleasure to have it.

Take the half portion of the pork, it is still huge and you get full.
The service was really good and the food was very tasty.
Indeed it is a bit loud, but it is due to traditional German music, so it is fun and it makes nice atmosphere.
You can make a reservation beforehand online.
I would like to go there again so 5 stars.

If you’re looking for a tourist experience in Germany this is a great place to go. The dining hall is very large and has space for many people. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating (not a very German experience) and the food is good. Prices are typical for German tourist restaurants. Enjoy!

Best dinner in Berlin! We wanted to find somewhere where we can get a really traditional German meal and within a traditional German atmosphere - and we did. Our waiter was superb (unfortunately I did not get his name). He was very interactive, knowledgeable & friendly, and also answered all questions we had.
We ordered a pretzel with butter to nibble until our food arrives. For main course we had the platter for 2 pax; which consisted of a pork knuckle, 2 types of sausage, roasted pork neck, 2 types of cabbage (I think one was sauteed and the other pickled) and a potato dumpling. Then we shared a dessert of Apple Strudel with custard & Ice cream. All the dishes were spot on. For drinks we had a beer & wine (both German and the waiter explained to us what they are). The total bill was about €56.
The atmosphere is lovely & very vibrant. It is not the romantic type but a loud vibe full of music, singing & dancing. As for the aesthetics, the place is beautiful and to a point it makes you forget that you are in a city. Wonderful... Keep it up... Would love to come back again.

Brilliant restaurant with amazing food and beers,quick and friendly service,with a live Bavarian band playing. The atmosphere was amazing and the whole place was rocking. If you are visiting Berlin this is a must visit location !!

Great place. Great food. Took snitzel, some sauce would have come in handy. Atmosphere was absolute, celebrated my girlfriends birthday here. They made a special song for her. Suggest this place.

We went there as a team event and must say u need a reservation, but the ambience, the crowd everything is really cherry on the top. And one more best thing we loved the most about the pretzels pizza 🥨 never thought this existed but it also tasted good the food is top notch and the live music steals Ur heart

Great place, easy location, amazing atmosphere, fast service and great beer. If you want to experience typical german pub atmosphere this is the place to go. Prices are also decent for Berlin City Centre.

It’s definitely one of the best places to bring visitors and clients that don’t have the opportunity to go to Munich. I also enjoy going there during Oktoberfest with my friends (but for that you have to pre-book in advance).

They are prepared for big crowds and the food comes relatively fast. The beer is amazing!

If you work in the area, I know they have lunch deals too ( and with beer option).

The only downside is sitting inside during summer as they don’t have AC.

Authentic 'bayerische Bierhalle'; my visit was during 'Oktoberfest', so there was live music, the place was almost full, yet the serving was incredibly fast and professional. Food is really good, big portions. Great beer, of course.

A taste of Germany, and what a delicious taste! Food is delicious, if you're sitting inside, be prepared for the whole German experience such as the live music. Staff were great, helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and surprisingly reasonable. It usually looks incredibly busy outside, but if you're willing to sit inside you can usually get a table.
