Incredible monument that is much more intimidating and beautiful in person. A lot of history has passed through this gate and it’s easy to feel the weight of it when you’re there. It’s probably the most recognisable piece of Berlin and is naturally busy most of the day. You may find more space on Sunday afternoon or early in the morning.

This is one of the most iconic monuments in Europe. This gate not only signifies the rich cultural and architectural excellence but rather it has a very important role in history.

The Berlin wall that kept Germany divided into east and west wings during the cold war era, also kept the people divided. The Berlin wall also ran through the Brandenburger Gate until 1989.

Now all the bullet holes and tears are repaired and it has been restored to its formed glory. We passed through the same gate through which Napoleon passed after the battle of Jena. It is a combination of beauty and power.

Another historical site not to be forgotten. The Wall was right there as well and there are the demarcation lines of the Wall that you would be able to see. Just be careful of those touts asking for assistance . It's a must visit attraction that you cannot miss 👍👍👍🙂

A beautiful place of course that everyone in Berlin interested in sightseeing should visit. There is a lot of beautiful sights around as well. We were there a short while after it was painted by activists, so our visit had a completely different dimension.

The Brandenburg Tur Berlin is the most famous attraction of Berlin. The historical significance of this iconic gate is awe-inspiring. The guided tour provided insightful information about its rich history. The surrounding area is vibrant and perfect for taking in the city's atmosphere. The architecture is stunning, and it's a must-visit for anyone in Berlin. The only downside was the crowds, but it's a testament to its popularity. Overall, a memorable visit and a must-see landmark when in Berlin!

A iconic symbol of history.. Very touristy but nice, Plenty of places to eat and drink near by , Where I found a lovely bakerie where they sold Cakes/Sandwiches & Hot/Cold drinks.
It`s situated on sort of the main rd but it has plenty of space to walk around it, Also there are guides that will tell you all about it plus other interesting stuff about other nearby attractions..For a price..
The S and U bahn train station is very nearby as well..Plenty of seats to have a rest as well..

It was a memorable visit to the Brandenburg Gate, with family.

The historic place attracts a good number of visitors or tourists and it was a pleasant autumn morning with the changing colours of the leaves.

Always an iconic landmark and a great tiergarten backdrop. A few nearby souvenirs shops and Augustiner Brauerei make this a great pit stop when seeing sights of Berlin. Train and bus stops right there too.

Without a doubt, one of the greatest historical sites in Europe. Truly a majestic gate, with rich history. Seeing it restored to its former glory after the devastation it suffered during the Second World War is an unexplainable feeling. I’ve experienced many emotions while looking at it, pride, peace and hope.

The Brandenburg Gate is a must for every visitor to Berlin. Hardly any other attraction features in as many tourist selfies as the large sandstone gate in the heart of the city.

The Brandenburg Gate is one of the most important sights in Berlin. It plays a correspondingly large role on city tours and during events such as New Year's Eve or the "Festival of Lights".

One of the more crowded landmarks to visit but certainly manageable. Grand and historic gate. There are some plaques and an information office to learn more about it and the significance of the plaza. Worth checking out as a tourist.

One of the most famous landmarks in Berlin. One can never miss visiting it. There are some other landmarks nearby too (such as the victory column, tiergarten, Jewish cemetery, bundestag). The festival of lights is an add on to this monument, which usually happens in early October.

It is a lot of very old stone cut and cleaned and placed in such an order that it is really good looking. Obviously it is a tourist must see and I hope people taking the pictures with it in frame look up the history of it. It is well worth checking it out day and night.

Visited Berlin on multiple occasions, once with my dog as well. Interesting city and not only because of it’s historical meaning or political importance.
There are a lot of sightseeing for sure.

This is a iconic landmark of Belin. This is the only city gate which is still standing. Old days you had to pay a toll to go across. The place is very busy and usually gets very crowded so the best time to visit here is early morning or late night.
